The on-screen couple in Slumdog Millionaire, Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, was seen together in a jewellery store on Valentine’s Day, leaving the notion that the two have a real-life romance.
A source told The Sun tabloid, "Dev and Freida seemed completely smitten with each other. They spent 15 minutes in the jeweler’s and were quite happy to sign autographs and talk to fans."
Rumour has it that the 24-year-old actress split with her long-term boyfriend, Rohan Antao, to clear the path for Patel, 18.
Last month, Patel explained, "We’re soulmates because we’re both in this surreal situation. She is very beautiful (but) there’s no romance."
