Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back

Terminator star resurrects acting career.

Although he denied reports that he wanted to be in Terminator 5, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has plenty of other projects on the go, now that the initial hoopla over his paternity scandal and subsequent divorce is fading from public view.

He is confirmed for The Expendables 2, having made a cameo appearance in the original, and also for The Last Stand filming early in 2012.

Now the former governor of California is interested in the thriller Captive written by Benjamin van der Veen (Che) and Kario Salem (The Score), reports Deadline.

He will play the role of a wealthy businessman who is kidnapped in Brazil and held for ransom.

The last feature film which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger before he became governor of California was 2004’s Around the World in 80 Days. Earlier this year, he put his career plans on hold because of the scandal and his divorce from Maria Shriver.
