Artic Monkeys Gear Up for Next Disc

The members of the band the Artic Monkeys are planning to record their second album.

According to the website NME, the next disc from the band may mirror the lives of the members.  The band’s first album, Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not, was released in 2006.

The group’s leader, Alex Turner, revealed that several songs on the next CD, the 20 year-old singer and his mates did not feel the need to isolate themselves, as they did with their first release.

Turner revealed, "It seems like in rock there’s a lot of boring rhytms. I don’t think anybody expects us to do the same as the first album but with strings."

The next album from the Artic Monkeys is due to be released in the spring.
