Actress Ashley Greene, best known as Alice Cullen in the smash hit Twilight movies, has signed on as the new face of Donna Karan’s fashion label DKNY, reports People.
The 24-year-old actress will appear in the ad campaign for the Spring 2012 collection, and has signed a one-year contract as brand-ambassador for DKNY.
“I’ve always loved Donna Karan’s creations,” Greene said. “To be a part of the brand’s message is incredibly exciting, because it feels like such an organic fit. It’s easy to talk about how these clothes work for my lifestyle, whether I’m in New York, L.A. or traveling for work.”
This isn’t Greene’s first foray into fashion and beauty. Last year, the actress replaced reality star Lauren Conrad as the face of Mark Cosmetics.
Greene also appears on the cover of Allure‘s November issue and talked about her love life, nude photos, and the rumor mill. The actress dated singer Joe Jonas until March of this year, and it was recently revealed that she’s now seeing actor Reeve Carney, star of Broadway’s Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark.
Donna Karan is an American fashion designer behind fashion labels Donna Karan New York, and the younger, cheaper line, DKNY.
Many labels and brands have branched off from the original DKNY label including jeans, underwear, menswear, beauty products, and a home collection that includes luxury bedding and accessories.
