Éditions Albert-René announced the 33rd original title. The newest adventure will be debuting in Brussels, Belgium on September 22.
The last adventure, which was out in 2001, by Albert Uderzo, Astérix et Latraviata, made record sales.
The Astérix adventures are translated in 40 languages. Since 1959, over 500 million copies have been sold.
