Deadline Hollywood Daily has obtained further details concerning the fourth installment of Austin Powers, presently underway.
Myers already mentioned in 2007 that he wanted to make a fourth film. We have learned that Myers will be paying some sort of tribute to his father in the movie. According to a source, Austin Powers 4 will be more personal, with the revisited father/son theme. Myers should be bringing some elements from his own life into the script.
We also know that the next film will involve the villain Doctor Evil and his son Scott.
Myers co-wrote the story with Michael McCullers, his writing partner from the second and third Austin Powers films.
Mike Myers will also be providing the voice behind his famous animated character, Shrek, in Shrek Goes Fourth, expected in theatres in 2010.
