The young Lil Tay, who had been announced as deceased last Wednesday, is in fact very much alive according to TMZ, while she has finally given a sign of life via an official statement claiming that her Instagram account had been hacked.

Recall that a message had been published on Tay’s Instagram account, inactive since 2018, when her death had been announced there by a supposed family member.

«I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say,» said Lil Tay, or Claire Hope (her real name), TMZ reports.

«It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess,» the young star claimed.
