Tom Brady invests in English soccer team

Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl winner, newly retired from the NFL, joins a group of investors to acquire soccer club Birmingham City.

The greatest quarterback in soccer history is partnering with Knighthead Capital Management LLC, and will work directly with the team’s board of directors.

Although he admits to knowing little about soccer, he said he would get to work immediately.

Brady told fans: “I’m officially coming on board at Birmingham City Football Club.

“And maybe you’re asking ‘what do you know about English football, Tom?’

“Well, let’s just say that I’ve got a lot to learn.

“But I do know a few things about winning and I think they might translate pretty well.

“I know success starts with the work put in when the world is not watching. I know that a team is nothing without the city that shows up and stands behind it.

“I’ll see you at St Andrews soon – it’s time to get to work. Let’s go.”

Tom Brady thus follows in the footsteps of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who took over Wrexham, and invest in a soccer team.

MrBeast sues the company behind MrBeast Burger

MrBeast, a popular 25-year-old Youtuber and philanthropist with 172 million subscribers, has decided to sue the company behind MrBeast Burger.

The Floridian company allegedly sold burgers with undercooked meat and poor-quality food.

According to the New York Post, MrBeast would like to end its business relationship with the company, as it has dramatically affected MrBeast Burger’s reputation for quality, with most restaurants rated at only 2 out of 5 stars.

Orders were served uncooked and delivered late, with missing items and packaging that did not represent the company.

The lawsuit was filed in New York court on Monday.

According to the New York Post, he had no choice but to divest himself of his restaurants since their poor reputation would have ended his project due to financial damage.

Let’s not forget that there are some 1,000 MrBeast Burger locations worldwide where food has been made in so-called ghost kitchens since 2020.
