A special counsel will investigate Donald Trump

Merrick Garland, the U.S. Attorney General, has appointed a special investigator to “monitor” the ongoing criminal investigations of Donald Trump.

The lawyer in question is longtime federal prosecutor Jack Smith, and he will oversee this investigation, which contains several strands on Donald Trump’s efforts to subvert the 2020 election, in addition to the mob summons during last year’s deadly assault on the Capitol.

Not to mention the unauthorized White House documents he allegedly dragged with him from office…

The purpose of this appointment is simply to protect the Department of Justice from the conflicts of interest of a criminal investigation, since Trump has freshly indicated his willingness to take back his throne as president.

https://twitter.com/TRTWorldNow/status/1593700368579436546

By Smith’s account, his ultimate mission is to move the investigation forward expeditiously to the appropriate outcome and consequences.

So Mr. Trump is not out of the woods!

Drake loses $2M in one shot!

Drake, valued at $180 million (U.S.) by Forbes, is not afraid to bet very large amounts of money in sports.

After a big bet for FC Barcelona about a month ago, which lost him nearly $850,000, Drake went at it again by betting a “small” two million US dollars on a UFC fight.

The 36-year-old rapper bet on middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who lost to his opponent, Alex Pereira. The fight took place at UFC 281, which took place at Madison Square Garden this past weekend.

Of course, Adesanya was the heavy favorite going into the fight, and if he won, it would net Drake $2.9 million, good for a $900,000 payout.

Drake is known for betting large amounts of money, whether it is during the Super Bowl, the NFL draft and even during some F1 Grand Prix, including the one in Spain.

Adesanya lost by technical knockout in the 5th round.

Donald Trump’s daughter drops him!

“Sorry Dad, I won’t be on board!”.

https://twitter.com/TMZ/status/1592876381637148673

Ivanka Trump has spoken out about her father’s 2024 presidential bid, and that’s not good news for the old man.

Donald Trump So has just lost the key element of his close guard, especially since Ivanka was the only one in the group who was able to reason with him.

The 41-year-old woman indicated last Tuesday that she would not be on her father’s team for this presidency because of his priorities, which are his three children.

Let’s remember that Trump announced that he is running for re-election, hence his daughter’s announcement on the matter:

“I love my father very much. This time around, I have chosen to prioritize my young children and the privacy we are creating as a family. I have no intention of getting involved in politics,” she said.

On the other hand, although she will not be part of her father’s team, she made it clear that she would still support him, but that she would do it away from the political ring.

Recall that Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, acted as senior advisors to Trump during his four years as president.

She also worked on DT’s last (2020) campaign.

100 years old? Let’s go to the strip club!

Gioacchino “Jack” Poma recently turned 100, and to celebrate this milestone, his daughter Dina “paid” for strippers for her daddy.

Dina took Jack to a men’s club called The Lodge on the Dallas side of town, since her father likes women, especially big chested ones. Hence the logic of celebrating his 100th birthday at a strip club.

Jack hadn’t been in a strip club since he was young, so when he arrived at the club on Halloween night, he was like a kid in a sandbox.

Of course, the dancers were surprised that Dina would bring her “hundred-year-old” dad into such a club, but as she pointed out, “we only have one life to live.”

To make sure everything went smoothly, Dina stayed close to her father as the dancers performed several birthday dances for him.

Everything went perfectly, and the owners of the club are ready to welcome back Jack, who lost his first wife 12 years ago and his second last year.

A fighter tries to choke his opponent with a seatbelt!

Two individuals who practice the martial art Jiu-Jitsu got into a fight in a convertible car, and one of the fighters almost choked his opponent with a seat belt.

The two experts are Kalinkin Kir and Leonid Fedorenko, and they fought in the framework of the event “Punch Club Jiujitsu”, somewhere in Russia (location unknown).

This type of fight works like this: the two opponents sit on the front seats, and as soon as the bell rings, they jump on each other. In this case, Kir grabbed the seatbelt and put it around Leonid’s neck to choke him.

Even though the belt was very tight, Leonid managed to get out of it and was able to continue the fight.

Note that in the art of Jiujitsu, a “safety belt” is a position where the fighter in a dominant position locks his hands on his opponent’s chest. In this case, we are talking about a real car seat belt, which is very different.

You should also know that the Punch Club organizes UFC/boxing fights in a phone booth. It’s very violent!

Beer banned at the World Cup!

The FIFA Soccer World Cup in Qatar has taken a major turn for the worse: the organization has decided to ban beer inside the eight stadiums!

It’s a brutal blow for soccer fans who like to have a few beers while watching their favorite sport live.

These fanatics are very outraged, of course.

Here is what two of them told the Daily Mail:

“It’s madness. Why is the World Cup there when the basic pleasures are being taken away? I expect it won’t go down well when most England fans are there!”

People are furious because of this announcement out of left field, without warning…

So there will be no beer with alcohol sold within the eight stadiums that will serve during the World Cup, and this news came suddenly on Friday, two days before the event begins.

For fans of non-alcoholic beer, it will be sold throughout the tournament at all eight venues.

“Following discussions between the host country authorities and FIFA, it has been decided to focus the sale of alcoholic beverages on the FIFA Fan Festival, other fan destinations and licensed venues, removing beer outlets from the stadium perimeters!” said FIFA via a statement.

Budweiser is also very upset about the announcement, especially since the company has already sent out all of its products!

Budweiser’s Twitter account actually posted a virulent tweet to this effect, but it was quickly deleted.

What’s worse, when Qatar submitted its bid for this World Cup, it reportedly agreed to FIFA’s demands about alcohol being sold in the stadiums…

In the end, fans will have to drink beer outside the stadiums, in places where the sale is allowed.
