Incredible rescue by New York firefighters goes viral

The New York Fire Department rescued a woman who was hanging from a burning Manhattan apartment building.

FDNY firefighters were called to battle flames in a Manhattan “tower” on Saturday, and through a video, this team can be seen pulling people out of the building.

While firefighters were rescuing a dozen people from the flames, a group of four firefighters went 20 floors in the air, at the end of a rope, to get a woman out (who was hanging).

A lady filmed this amazing scene from her cell phone, giving images of extraordinary heroism.

“In all my life, I have never seen a more heroic act than what I just witnessed from my apartment. A woman rescued by New York City firefighters from a devastating apartment fire. While trying to escape the smoke, she slipped and ended up suspended 15-20 stories. THANK YOU to our heroes,” said Patti Ryan, the woman who filmed the scene.

As they say, there is still hope in humanity.

A Beatles fan saw John Lennon… in a beer glass!

A fanatic of the Beatles fan visited the legendary band’s memorial site on his birthday, and when they (he and his friends) ordered pints of beer… poured in front of them, the fan said he saw John Lennon ‘s face in his friend’s glass…

Lee Baker, the fan in question, was in the Cavern Club pub in Liverpool with some friends, and it was there that he saw Lennon’s face in the foam of his friend’s beer.

So he felt as if the missing Beatles and Lennon were sending him a sign from beyond.

“When I saw John Lennon’s face in my friend’s pint, it was a little scary, it was like a sign (…) It’s been a joke between us ever since,” he pointed out to the NY Post.

Lee said the image of Lennon in the haze was the one before the beard, in the years when the Imagine singer was more “clean”.

“John Lennon is my favorite Beatle. I love the fact that he was a little off the wall, a genius, he was pretty angry sometimes, he was outspoken!” said Baker about his love for Lennon.

What a story!

A fan makes an “impossible” throw and wins a car!

A New York Knicks fan hit a shot from the middle of the floor during last Saturday night’s Celtics-Knicks duel at Madison Square Garden… earning him a car!

The young man showed up in John Starks number 3 jersey during a commercial break in the 3rd quarter, and when he did the impossible, he hit a shot that sent the crowd into a frenzy!

While Barrett walked out of the game with a beautiful Kia, the Knicks lost 133-118 to a masterful Boston team from downtown.

On this night, the Celtics made their history book with 27 three-point shots, while setting the record for most 3-point shots the Knicks have ever allowed.

Ryan Reynolds was a hit at the Senators’ home!

Tuesday night, Ryan Reynolds was at the Canadian Tire Centre, the home of the Ottawa Senators, who were hosting the Vancouver Canucks, to observe hit potential future players!

“Reynolds got a standing ovation from fans and players on the Ottawa bench. He was on his feet when Drake Batherson opened the scoring in the first period!” as reported by Bruce Garrioch.

More than that, he was introduced to the crowd, indicating how much they believe in his project.

He also reacted when Travis Hamonic added another goal for the Sens following a masterful play by Tim Stüzle.

Reynolds is obviously very popular in the Senators fan environment because of his desire to pick up the concession guides. Several photos were taken of his visit to the Canadian Tire Centre.

Remember that since the Ontario club was put on the market, Reynolds has been the main potential buyer of the franchise based a few miles from Ottawa.

The Senators finally lost 6-4, good for a 6th consecutive loss…

The trailer for Avatar 2 is out, and it’s amazing!

The trailer of the next Avatar, The Way of Waters absolutely amazing because of the underwater images and the sublime beauty of Pandora.

This new trailer has been released by 20th Century Studios, which will present the highly anticipated sequel to the first Avatar, released in 2009.

If the first movie was mainly set on the lands of Pandora, the next one will feature a lot of underwater sequences, as we can see in the trailer.

The story takes place ten years later, as the story of Jake and Neytiri and their children is told.

The synopsis for the film reads, “Of the problems that follow them, the efforts they make to protect each other, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure.”

The film will hit theaters on December 16, and let’s note that Kate Winslet is in the cast, in addition to the returns of Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang!

Drake attacks Serena Williams and her husband!

Drake and 21 Savage dropped Her Loss and through this album, the Ontario rapper attacks Megan Thee Stallion, Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian.

It is in the track Middle of the Ocean that we find a passage involving Serena’s husband, as Drake calls him a “groupie”!

“Sidebar, Serena, your husband is a groupie.” he can be heard saying.

This little feud spans several years because of Drake and Serena’s previous relationship in 2015, before Ohanian came on.

At that time, TMZ obtained photos of them passionately kissing at a fancy restaurant.

Add to that the fact that during that year, 2015, Drake was regularly spotted in the stands of Wimbledon during Serena’s matches. The recently retired player had indicated that they were just good “friends”.

Drake was also spotted again in the stands of a tennis match of Queen Serena in 2018…

In short, apart from an exchange of words on Twitter, the Williams-Ohanian couple has not contacted Drake so far, unlike Thee Stallion, who has not shied away from doing so!

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder has shown interest in selling his NFL club, according to TMZ Sports sources.

Obviously, successful men have been quick to rise up indicating their desire to purchase the Washington-based franchise. The individuals leading the charge are Jay-Z and Jeff Bezos, who would be willing to partner in the purchase of the club.

Snyder is considering the possibility, selling his team, but his final decision is still pending. Let’s just say that many Commanders fans would be jumping of joy if Snyder sold, they who have long wanted him to pass the torch.

The team is valued at $5.6 billion, and Jay-Z’s strategy, valued at $1.3 billion, is to create a group including Bezos and another partner to acquire the club.

It should be noted that Jay-Z has been in business since 2019 with the NFL, orchestrating the colossal halftime shows, while also leading social justice initiatives.

Add to that the fact that he once owned the Brooklyn Nets (NBA)… before he had to sell when he opened his sports and marketing agency Roc Nation Sports because of a conflict of interest (he represents NBA players).

If he was upset last week, because of the Houston Astros’ crushing 7-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 of the World Series, Mattress Mack hasbeen smiling from ear to ear since last Saturday.

Jim McIngvale (real name) has pocketed $75 million for his bet on the Houston Astros to win the 2022 World Series!

According to multiple reports, this is the largest payout in the history of sports betting.

“What can we say? We just wrote the biggest check in sports betting history to Mattress Mack (…)!”, Ken Fuchs, chief operating officer of Caesars Digital, told ESPN.

Recall that Mattress Mack, who is 71 years old and owns the Gallery Furniture chain, bet $10 million on the Astros with Caesars Sportsbook.

Part of Mack’s winnings will be used for a huge promotion he’s offering his customers, giving them double the bill if they spend at least $3,000. WOW!

The Paul brothers, Logan and Jake, seem to have a clear plan: to come together in the WWE to become the future undisputed team champions.

Jake is reportedly open to the idea of joining his brother Logan, who was in his third career fight in Saudi Arabia last weekend against Roman Reigns.

“Sure. Sure, why not? You know, it was so much fun, and I know we can go really far, and I loved it!” one of the Paul brothers says, reports The Sun.

At the event, Jake appeared for the first time in WWE to attack Roman Reigns’ cousins USOS, who Logan wrestled.

Jake loved everything about the WWE environment, he felt at home and said the company was amazing. So the process of bringing the Paul brothers together as a team really seems to be underway!
