James Bond pays tribute to Elizabeth II

Daniel Craig, a.k.a. James Bond, saluted Queen Elizabeth II, saying what a funny mind she had.

Craig also added that Queen Elizabeth has left an incomparable legacy during all those years on the throne.

In an interview with the BBC during TIFF 2022, the English actor praised the great lady at length.

“What an incredible phenomenon. We will never see people like her again!” he said.

The 54-year-old actor had the honor of working with the queen during the London Olympics in 2012.

It was as part of a comedy sketch for the opening ceremony.

During that shoot, Craig was a bit moody and it was the queen who managed to bring a smile to his face!

“He’s the one who doesn’t smile!” she reportedly said.

Nick Suzuki becomes the 31st captain of the Montreal Canadiens

Nick Suzuki looks great with the new letter on his jersey.

Nick Suzuki became the 31st captain of the Montreal Canadiens, succeeding Shea Weber, who is “unofficially” retired, as his contract is now with the Vegas Golden Knights.

https://twitter.com/PFrioletRDS/status/1569310221062873089

Suzuki has the ability to play this role with rigor and seriousness. Especially since he is well respected in the dressing room by the young players as well as by veterans such as Joel Edmundson or Brendan Gallagher.

The announcement was made Monday morning by head coach Martin St-Louis as the Sainte-Flanelle held its annual golf tournament to kick off the 2022-23 campaign.

The number 14, who is only 23 years old, becomes the youngest captain in the history of the franchise, which is not an added pressure according to him.

True to form, Suz said it was an honour and a privilege to wear this letter of nobility with the Montreal Canadiens.

He is excited and ready to take on such a challenge with the Montreal Canadiens, and will be supported by two outstanding veterans in Gallagher and Edmundson.

During this duel, the kiss-cam showed up in front of two fans and the man wanted nothing to do with kissing the woman, so she… poured her beer on his head!

It’s a funny moment for the fans and viewers, but probably not for the man…

The story doesn’t say if the two people in question are a couple, but the woman was wearing a Royals jersey and the man was wearing a Tigers jersey!

Eva Mendes prioritizes her family life (with Ryan Gosling!)

The actress is a mother of two young children.

Life with young children is not necessarily a smooth ride, is it? That’s what actress Eva Mendes explains in an interview with PEOPLE magazine. The actress and mother of two young children explains that her house is often messy, and that she fully accepts this situation.

Many parents will surely recognize themselves in Mendes’ words; the actress admits that since she became a mother, her house is messier and that it’s okay. She is adamant that it is “impossible” to keep a perfectly tidy house and that you have to accept this situation while it lasts.

For the past few years, Mendes has been keeping a lower profile in Hollywood. She has chosen to focus on her children and her family life. She prefers to select the projects that interest her now rather than jumping into big film projects.

For her, her husband (Ryan Gosling!) and children represent “her home”.

We appreciate when stars like Mendes open up about their family life like this.

It helps normalize some of the situations that many parents face, like a messy house, or life at home.
