Tiger Woods spit out at least $700 million

LIV Golf has reportedly tabled an offer of between $700 million and $800 million to Tiger Woods to lure him, according to LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman.

“Yes, the numbers have come out. Tiger is a top dog. So, of course, you like to watch the best of the best. They first approached Tiger before I became CEO, so yes, that number is somewhere in there,”Norman told “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

LIV Golf is this league backed by Saudi Arabia. It is famous because of the astronomical sums of money it offers to PGA Tour golfers to join it. The offer made to Tiger Wood is certainly the most lucrative to date, beating the 200 million given to Phil Mickelson.

No matter how much money LIV Golf deposits, Tiger Woods will never play there, as he has been very critical of the tour:

“The players who have chosen to go to LIV and play there, I don’t agree with. I think what they’ve done is they’ve turned their backs on what got them to this status.”

Perhaps Tiger Woods could afford to turn down the millions from LIV Golf. He is one of the only billionaire athletes on the planet.

In all, Travis Scott will perform seven shows, but the dates for these are still unknown, except for the first two, which are already circled on the calendar.

PGA increases prizes for winners

The PGA Tour will increase its prize money for the big tournaments in the upcoming campaign (2022-23) as it faced a challenge from the LIV GOLF Tour.

Winnings awarded by the PGA will be made for eight of the major invitational tournaments with $25 million, up from $20 million this season for the Players Championship.

There will also be $145 million in additional bonuses, including $75 million for the FedEx Cup, where 70 players will compete, not 125 as before.

This increase came about because of the LIV Golf.  The increase came as a result of the PGA Tour presenting the largest prize packages in history to entice the PGA Tour’s top performers in a campaign that would expand to 14 tournaments from eight.

The public wanted more impact in the regular season at the FedEx Cup, while strengthening the tournaments where players must compete in duals.

The LIV Tour is funded by Saudi Arabia. The tour led by former champion Greg Norman offers to poach the best players in the world a fortune to its stars. For its part, the PGA Tour has suspended the players who have defected.

The 2022-23 campaign will begin with the Fortinet Championship, which will be held in Napa from September 15 to 18.

Merchandise: Tom Brady still downgrades all his peers

Tom Brady is so unique, he’s from another planet. At 44, he is still one of the biggest stars in the NFL. As a result, his merchandise is still at the top.

By the end of the 2021-22 campaign, Tom Brady sat atop the list of all players who sold the most officially licensed NFL products. Then, heading into the upcoming season, his name is still stuck at number one.

He ranks ahead of Russell Wilson (Denver) and Cooper Kupp (Los Angeles-Rams), who are ranked second and third respectively.

It’s also surprising that Patrick Mahomes (8th) and Lamar Jackson (18th) are so far behind in merchandise sales, as they are the ones who make people run.

All things considered, Tom Brady enters next season at the top of the sales charts, so he should close this race at number one once again.

Jennifer Abel and David Lemieux unveil a photo of their baby

“It is with great excitement that we present our son Xander.”

It was on August 1 that Jennifer Abel and David Lemieux introduced their newborn son on social media. Little Xander is almost three months old now!

“Hello everyone, it is with great enthusiasm that we present you our son Xander,” could be read in the legend under the publication of the boxer.

Let’s remember that it was on Mother’s Day, that Jennifer Abel announced the birth of her son on her Instagram page. The Olympic athlete posted an adorable photo of his little family!

“In my life, I have often heard people say congratulations. Congratulations on your great performance, congratulations on your new record. For the past week, I have been congratulated on my new role as a mom and I can tell you that I have never been more proud to hear that word. On this Mother’s Day, I would like to congratulate all the moms for your unconditional love and dedication. I take this opportunity to introduce you to the one who gave me the most beautiful title in the world Xander Lemieux,” read the caption under the publication.

Recall that last February, the diver announced that she was retiring to start a family, in a letter to the little Jennifer Label. She wrote: “Before you, there were few mixed-race girls in diving. Maybe because they were told like you that black girls are in track and field or basketball, not in the pool. But you, your dream was to dive,” it read.

“The curtain has fallen. These Tokyo Olympics were my fourth and last. The Olympic journey has been fabulous. I started it at the age of 16, when I barely realized what was happening to me. I’m finishing it at the dawn of my 30th birthday, fully aware of the path I’ve taken”, she had shared following the announcement of her retirement.

A flying car could be put on the market

Samson Sky ‘s Switchblade has been in production for 14 years and could now undergo another round of testing.

On July 15th, the Federal Aviation Administration revealed that the vehicle is built in Oregon and will soon undergo new tests. If all is successful, the flying car could be put on the market within a few weeks.

This Ferrari red car offers all the amenities of a luxury car, including a hybrid electric drive system. When it’s time to land, the wings unfold on the sides.

For the curious, the car can accommodate two passengers. It can fly at an altitude of 16,000 feet and has a cruising speed of 258 kilometers. As far as insurance is concerned, the flying car has not been created yet.

Obviously, the flying car will not be sold on the standard car market, but rather on the “luxury” side at a cost of $170,000.

Samson Sky ‘s Switchblade is trying to catch up with the AirCar, which already has a few successful tests. Other manufacturers are also in the running. Cadillac unveiled its own airplane car at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the past.

Another automaker, Porsche, has partnered in 2019 with aircraft manufacturer Boeing to launch its own prototype.

Gene Simmons no longer has the strength to continue with KISS

Gene Simmons, who has repeatedly claimed to have slept with more than 5,000 women during his career with KISS, says he no longer has the strength to continue his reign with one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most successful bands.

At 73, it’s getting very hard to carry around 40 pounds of armor and seven-inch heels. The physicality doesn’t hold up for long shows of the band. And playing sitting in a chair like the guys who play the blues isn’t for Gene Simmons.

“I’m 73 years old soon. I’m wearing 40 pounds of armor and 7-inch heels. I can’t sit in a chair like blues musicians. I know you can’t stay on stage too long. It’s better to get out while the going’s good,” Simmons told the NY Post.

Of course, today’s increasingly robotic life tickles Simmons, who has to deal with Spotify and all those platforms. The money isn’t coming in as much as it was in the ’70s in this business, he says…

It looks like this will be the end of KISS, a band that has survived all these years, following the tour scheduled for the end of August.
