Dwight Howard was spotted doing a promo for the WWE

NBA starDwight Howard will be attending WWE tryouts this weekend ahead of SummerSlam.

The former Los Angeles Lakers star, who has played in eight NBA All-Star games, was spotted preparing for SummerSlam, and is apparently very serious about joining the WWE one day.

The 6-foot-10, 265-pound kingpin is still a very attractive athlete for a role in the league, even though he is 36 years old. However, he will have to convince Triple H that he has what it takes to succeed.

When he was playing for the Houston Rocket in 2015, Dwight Howard was part of a WWE live event, as he faced Rusev and Lana on the Houston side.

In short, Dwight Howard is currently a free agent, then if he doesn’t land a contract in the NBA, he may be looking at a new career sooner rather than later.

SummerSlam will take place this weekend (July 30) live from Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

Meet HBO’s most dysfunctional family

HBO introduced House of the Dragon its new series as the most dysfunctional family ever. Dysfunctional dragons!

It was HBO ‘s Casey Bloys who confirmed that the Targaryens, the family of the upcoming new series, was probably the most dysfunctional on the network so far, downgrading the Roy family in “Succession.”

At the Los Angeles premiere, Bloys had this to say:

“We’ve had the Sopranos, we’ve had the Fishers (“Six Feet Under), we’ve got the Roys, and then now you’ll see tonight and over the next few weeks… The Targaryens, who may be the most dysfunctional family we’ve ever had on HBO, not to mention that they have 17 dragons at their disposal.”

Bottom line, House of the Dragon takes place approximately 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and follows the succession wars of House Targaryen.

House of the Dragon will hit theaters on August 21.

Rocky’s Drago will have his own movie

Ivan Drago, one of the most outstanding characters of the series Rocky who was also in the last Creed will be back to accompany his son on the edge of the boxing ring.

The actor who plays the role of Drago, Dolph Lundgren, will be at the center of the next film, according to The Wrap, which confirms that the story will revolve around Drago and his son Viktor (Florian Munteanu).

For the moment, no details on the plot have been disclosed, but we know that the film will be called Drago. The script will be written by Robert Lawton, who is motivated to write a story involving Draco and his son.

Last year, Lundgren tickled fans about the possibility of a movie or series involving his mythical character.

“By the way, I think there’s talk of creating a whole series about Draco with MGM. So you may get more!”, Dolph Lundgren had confided.

It should also be noted that a third film in the series Creed will see the light of day, as the construction of this new film will begin this fall.

Sylvester Stallone has fun in the trailer of ‘Samaritan

Amazon Prime has dropped the trailer for its upcoming action movie, Samaritan, which stars 76-year-old star Sylvester Stallone.

Stallone plays a good Samaritan (Mr.Smith), a mysterious and lonely neighbor, even though his 13-year-old neighbor, Sam, is aware that Sam is not who he says he is!

“Twenty-five years ago, Granite City’s super-powered vigilante, Samaritan, was reported dead after a warehouse battle with his rival, Nemesis. Most believe Samaritan perished in the fire, but some in the city, like Sam, have hope that he is still alive.”

Samaritan, which was directed by Julius Avery, will be available on August 26, via the Prime Video platform!

Sydney Sweeney confides in us about the pressure to pay her bills

“If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don’t have the income to cover that.”

Sydney Sweeney recently opened up about the film industry and the pressure to pay her bills in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Indeed, even with her roles in Sharp Objects, Euphoria and The White Lotus the American actress is facing financial insecurities!

“I want to start a family, I’ve always wanted to be a young mom, and I worry about how this industry stigmatizes young women who have children and looks at them in a different light. I was afraid that if I didn’t work, there would be no money and no support for the children I would have,” she mentioned.

Moreover, even though she has the option to negotiate her salary, Sydney Sweeney tries as much as possible to fill her schedule with movies and series, due to the pressure of inflation.

“If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don’t have the income to cover that. I have no one to support me, I have no one to turn to to pay my bills or call for help.”

“They don’t pay actors like they used to, and with the streaming platforms, you don’t get compensation anymore. The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5% to my lawyer, 10% to my agents, 3% or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage,” she concluded.

Indeed, the rising cost of living is adding pressure to everyone, it seems!

NFL players use new helmets!

The opening of NFL teams’ training camps this week brings its share of surprises. Beyond the players trying to break into the lineup, the new helmets called Guardian Caps are turning heads.

NFL teams are complying with a new league directive for training camp. With the addition ofGuardian Caps on players’ current helmets, the NFL hopes toreduce the number of head injuries to its athletes.

According to the league, the helmet’s embossed coating creates a soft shell layer that can significantly reduce the impact of shocks during a helmet-to-helmet collision. Players in certain positions deemed more at risk are required to wearGuardian Caps between the start of training camp and the second preseason game.

Some teams, like the Pittsburgh Steelers, even require other players to wear them as well.

The Guardian Cap was adopted at the league’s annual meetings in March as part of the NFL’s ongoing efforts to reduce head injuries during practice.

In 2021, 187 concussions were seen in the NFL during the regular season and preseason games. A significant improvement from the worst year for this, in 2017, 281concussions were recorded.

The NFL season will get underway on September 8, when the Buffalo Bills take on the last Super Bowl champions, the Los Angeles Rams.

Sebastian Vettel announces his retirement

Sebastian Vettel announced his retirement.

The four-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel has chosen to hang up his helmet, racing shoes and steering wheel at the end of the current season.

The 35-year-old German said he wanted to thank everyone, especially the fans, and explains his decision while confirming the rumors.

“The decision to retire has been a difficult one for me to take, and I have spent a lot of time thinking about it. At the end of the year I want to take some more time to reflect on what I will focus on next; it is very clear to me that, being a father, I want to spend more time with my family.” he said via his statement.

Vettel has four world championship titles with the Red Bull team (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013).

Vettel also got 53 wins and 122 podiums.
