Cody Rhodes takes home a big award at the ESPYs

Cody Rhodes, considered by many to be the modern day Hulk Hogan, took home a huge honor as he received the ESPY award for the best moment of the year. The ESPY gala is an annual ceremony that recognizes individual and team athletic achievements over the previous year.

Rhodes left the WWE for six years to work for, among others, its competitor AEW, but since WrestleMania 38 (April 2), he is officially back in the rings of the world’s biggest wrestling company.

Vince McMahon and his cronies brought Rhodes back, with millions of dollars and with good reason, to make him the headliner and main eventer for Monday Night Raw.

It’s a mission fully accomplished for the WWE as Rhodes is the most popular wrestler since Stone Cold Steve Austin, who brings the crowds to their feet as soon as his entrance piece starts playing.

However, Cody is in rehabilitation, having had to go under the knife last June to repair a torn tendon.

As Netflix prepared to release its earnings report on Tuesday, Page Six reported that the executives want to air as soon as possible the docu-series the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been working on for more than a year, after signing a $20 million deal in 2021.

Let’s also mention that the memoir of Prince Harry, written by JR Moehringer, will be released next fall.

007: Ana de Armas does not want a woman in the role

Ana de Armas spoke about the next edition of the James Bond 007 series, indicating her desire to keep a male image for the role of 007!

There’s been speculations of a woman in the role of 007 for a while now, but Ana de Armas does not see the logic behind it, in part because of the novel history of this cult series.

“It is not necessary to have a female Bond. It shouldn’t be necessary to steal someone else’s character to take over. This is a novel (…)”, said de Armas to The Sun.

Nevertheless, the No Time To Die star believes that women should be portrayed in an even better way in the next feature film of this saga.

“What I would like is for the female roles in the Bond films, even though Bond will continue to be a man, to come to life in a different way. That they are given a bigger role and more recognition. That’s what I find more interesting than turning things around,” she added.

Daniel Craig delivered a similar speech following his last tour as James Bond.
