Kim Kardashian West will adopt a child in the future

Kim Kardashian West will adopt a child in the future, her friend believes.

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is currently pregnant with her second child but made no secret of the fact she struggled to conceive and her pal Mayte Garcia admits the brunette beauty and her husband Kanye West – who already have two-year-old daughter North together- were exploring other options to expand their family.

Speaking to the new issue of Britain’s Heat magazine, Mayte said: ”I think she might adopt in the future. I think Kim is very headstrong and her goal was to get pregnant and she did. But I know she had adoption in the back of her mind absolutely.

”It’s great that she and Kanye are having another baby because she’s always wanted that.”

And Mayte doesn’t expect her friend will be too worried about getting back into shape once she’s given birth to her son in December.

She said: ”When Kim first had North, she stopped everything.

”She stayed in her pajamas for weeks, taking care of the baby.

”We used to work out before we both had children and she’d text me at night like, ‘OK, tomorrow, 5am … I have a crazy day.’

”She’s very, very into her physique but of course, now she’s a mother you have to make time for it, as you want to enjoy living rather than being a slave to working out.”

Hilary Duff wants girl-only vacation

Hilary Duff needs a ”big-girl vacation”.

The 27-year-old singer is eager to jet off on a relaxing trip with a group of female friends this summer to get over her split from estranged husband Mike Comrie, with whom she has three-year-old son Luca with.

Asked about her summer plans, the ‘Sparks’ hitmaker said: ”I want to take my little nugget on vacation. I need a big-girl vacation too. I’m dying to go to Greece and Thailand with my girlfriends.”

The blonde beauty – who separated from Mike last year after four years together – recently started using the dating app Tinder, but admits she doesn’t like when other users post blurry photographs because she likes to get a good look at the guys she’s checking out.

She explained to Us Weekly magazine: ”Looks … are the first thing you see. If they’re too far away in the picture, it’s like, Hmm … you’re hiding something!”

Hilary has been busy recording her new album ‘Breathe In, Breathe Out’ over the past few months and says it is named after her favorite mantra.

She said: ”I mean, who do it all day long, but we don’t remember to do it with meaning.”

Harry Potter play to open in the West End

A new Harry Potter play is opening in the West End.

The stage show, called ‘Harry Potter and The Cursed Child’, will debut at the Palace Theatre in the heart of London in summer 2016 with tickets set to go on sale this autumn.

The show will follow the lives of the boy wizard’s doomed parents, Lily and James Potter, and their death at the hands of Lord Voldermort, which results in a baby Harry being sent to live with Lily’s cruel sister Petunia Dursley, her husband Vernon and their bullying son Dudley.

The play has been penned by Potter author J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, who will also be directing the show.

While the cast is yet to be announced, producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender are said to be on the lookout for the leads and informal auditions are currently being held, reports the Daily Mail newspaper.

The 49-year-old writer took to her Twitter to announce the news but refused to reveal too much about the play for fear of spoiling the story.

She tweeted: ”I’m very excited to confirm today that a new play called Harry Potter and the #CursedChild will be opening in London next year.

”It will tell a new story, which is the result of a collaboration between writer Jack Thorne, director John Tiffany and myself. #CursedChild

”I don’t want to say too much more, because I don’t want to spoil what I know will be a real treat for fans. #CursedChild

”However, I can say that it is not a prequel! #CursedChild. (sic)”

Rowling also revealed the reason behind her decision to add to Harry’s story in a play format instead of releasing a new novel.

She explained: ”To answer one inevitable (and reasonable!) question – why isn’t #CursedChild a new novel? – I am confident that when audiences see the play they will agree that it was the only proper medium for the story. #CursedChild

”I’ve had countless offers to extend Harry’s story over the years, but Jack, John and Sonia Friedman are a dream team! #CursedChild

”It has been a huge pleasure to share with them (and soon, with you!) this untold part of Harry’s story. #CursedChild. (sic)”

Taylor Swift gets friendly at awards shows

Taylor Swift says the best thing about awards shows is getting to party with her pop star pals.

The ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker – whose relationship with superstar DJ Calvin Harris became public at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards – confessed that making friends with other musicians at the ceremonies has helped her to enjoy the events which can feel ”competitive” and ”strange”.

She said: ”That’s the cool part about the musical climate right now, is that I go to these award shows and I really do feel like I’m seeing a lot of my friends and the more friends that I make that are awesome and cool and are at these events, the less it feels like some strange competitive atmosphere.

”That doesn’t feel as nice as going to an award show and feeling like, ‘Hey! It’s everyone that I really loved!’ ”

Taylor is close friends with British musician Ed Sheeran and is pals with Sam Smith, and she is so thrilled with their success.

Speaking on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’, she said: ”I think that it’s been amazing to watch artists like Ed and Sam to put out their first single and have things hit so quickly and they are people that I am a huge fan of, I love what they do and I think that they are absolutely authentic and to top it off they are amazing people, they are fun to hang out with.”

The ‘Shake it Off’ hitmaker is currently on the road with her ‘1989 World Tour’ and invited non-music pals, models Cara Delevingne and Gigi Haddid to walk the stage with her at the Philadelphia gig – though she wouldn’t reveal whether she will treat fans in the UK to the same surprise now she’s in Britain.

She said: ”I think it’s fun to have people pop up and make special guest appearances on the tour even if they’re not musicians, like, fans still love them. The cool thing about surprise guests is that they are surprises.”

Al Pacino ready to slow down

Al Pacino wants to ”work less” and spend more time with his young children.

The 75-year-old big screen legend shares joint custody of his 14-year-old twins Alton and Olivia – his children with ex-partner Beverley D’Angelo – and he is considering taking a step away from the movie business so he can be more involved in their lives.

He confessed: ”I would rather work less to be honest with you. I have young children so I’d like to be more involved with them because I’m a single dad. I share custody. So that gives me a lot to do.”

But it doesn’t look like Pacino will be slowing down any time soon as he is currently shooting ‘Beyond Deceit’ and will then start work on ‘The Trap’.

Although his twins are aware of his career, the Hollywood superstar – who is also dad to daughter Julie, 25, from a previous relationship with his former acting coach Jan Tarrant – insists they take notice of his fame or success.

The ‘Godfather’ actor told Vanity Fair magazine: ”I’m dad to them. There’s the lamp. There’s the TV. There’s the couch. I fall into that category: furniture.”

Pacino will be working on Broadway in October when he will appear in the play ‘China Doll’ as a billionaire on the verge of semi-retirement.

He revealed: ”I’ve got to do the play, which is daunting and large. It’s just two characters. So I’m coping with that. Sometimes I just work because the material is good.”

Chris Pratt’s anger over dad’s death

Chris Pratt was ”pretty angry” after his dad died as he found it hard to deal with his grief.

The 35-year-old actor was shooting ‘Jurassic World’ on location in New Orleans when he learned his father Dan had lost his battle with multiple sclerosis, and he tried to ”compartmentalize” his feelings away from his work by getting drunk and confrontational.

He said: ”I knew, being the lead in the movie, that I was really responsible for everybody’s attitude.

”So I compartmentalized it all and dealt with it in my own way, but not openly for people to see. I got pretty angry and got drunk and almost got in a fight with a drug dealer outside of my hotel room.”

When the illness took its toll on his body, Dan split from Chris’ mother and moved into an assisted living facility, where he ”gave up on life”.

And though the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star – who has two-year-old son Jack with wife Anna Faris – was upset by his dad’s passing, he admits he and his family feel a sense of relief at times.

He told GQ magazine: ”I can go spend time with my sister or my mom and not have this nagging feeling, like we’ve betrayed Dad and we’re not there at his bedside when he never f***ing wanted us there anyway.

”I think he did but he was too proud to show any appreciation if you went to visit him, you know. It was a sad, f***ed-up situation.”

Taylor Swift posts first solo photograph with Calvin Harris

Taylor Swift has posted the first solo photograph of her and new boyfriend Calvin Harris to her Instagram account.

The 25-year-old beauty has been rumoured to have been dating Calvin, 31, since February and she’s confirmed the celebrity duo’s status by posting an image of them riding an inflatable duck together on the photo-sharing website.

The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker – who’s previously dated the likes of John Mayer and Harry Styles – is seen sporting a pair of dark shades and a black bikini top as she nestles behind her topless new boyfriend, captioning the image: ”Swan goals.”

Taylor’s decision to post the photograph came shortly after she revealed Calvin is one of her ”favourite people”.

The singer-songwriter took to Twitter on Tuesday (06.09.15) for National Best Friends Day to celebrate Calvin and her good friend Gigi Hadid, who she also captured in a picture.

Alongside a link to the image, which was posted on Gigi’s Instagram account, Taylor captioned the image: ”I took a photo of my favorite people–they were laughing so hard, the lens couldn’t capture it fast enough. (sic)”

Meanwhile, Gigi – who recently split from Cody Simpson – dedicated the blurry black and white snapshot to all of her friends.

She said: ”There’s not a picture that could fit in everyone that I appreciate, but this post is dedicated to all the friends that light up my life- you know who you are. I’m the luckiiesssttttt
