Katy Perry dating Winston Marshall?

Katy Perry reportedly ”hooked up” with Mumford and Son’s Winston Marshall in Berlin on Saturday (03.14.15).

The 30-year-old singer has sparked speculation she’s split from John Mayer once again after she was spotted getting close to the British rocker, 26, following her concert at the O2 Arena.

The folk group met up with the ‘Roar’ hitmaker following their intimate show at the Magnet Club in the German capital and reportedly danced the night away at the trendy nightclub Schwuz, according to the New York Daily News’ Confidential column.

This wouldn’t be the first time a member of the popular band has found love with an A-list celebrity as the lead singer Marcus Mumford is married to Hollywood actress Carey Mulligan, 29.

Katy and John, 36 – who have had an on-off relationship since 2012 – rekindled their relationship earlier this year after splitting last February and were determined to make their romance work this time around because they’d both ”changed” as people.

A source said last month: ”It’s different this time around. Both of them have changed, and after nearly a year apart they’ve realized what they want.”

Meanwhile, Katy’s ex-husband British comedian Russell Brand, whom she was married to from 2010 until 2012, is planning to reveal all about their short-lived marriage in his new documentary ‘BRAND: A Second Coming’ later this week at the SXSW festival.

Heather Mills slams Paul McCartney

Heather Mills claims Sir Paul McCartney only worked with Rihanna and Kanye West so people would ”remember who he is”.

The 47-year-old charity campaigner launched a stinging attack on her ex-husband – who collaborated with the stars on ‘FourFiveSeconds’ and insisted people are not interested in him because the Beatles legend isn’t relevant anymore.

After initially claiming it was ”boring” to talk about Paul – who she divorced in 2006 after four years of marriage – Heather was pressed on the matter because ”people are interested”, and she replied: ”They’re not [interested]. That’s the thing. If I go down the street, all I get is kids coming up to me. Half of them don’t even know who he is. That’s why he’s got to do songs with Rihanna and Kanye West, so people remember [who he is].”

”Most of the time I have people going, ‘Oh my God, you’re a ski racer’ or ‘You help the animals’, I own the biggest vegan company in the world, most of the money I earn goes into helping animals, disabled kids, landmine clearing charities, things that are changing the world.”

And despite being one of the most famous musicians in the world, Heather dismissed her ex-husband – with who she has 11-year-old daughter Beatrice – as a normal guy who wrote ”a few cool songs”.

Speaking on Ireland’s ‘Late, Late Show’, she added: ”This is just someone I fell in love with who to me was a normal guy who happened to write a few cool songs in the ’60s and a few in the ’70s.

”It was just someone I fell in love with, like everybody who is a partner. You fall in love, you get married, sometimes you wake up and think ‘This is completely wrong’ and you move on. There’s a massive nation of people who are divorced.

I divorced someone I once loved and I was abused for it. If anybody put themselves in my position and went, ‘How would I feel if the world was constantly saying ”What about that old baggage of yours?”’

”It’s so boring.”

Michael Douglas’ son abused over faith

Michael Douglas was horrified when his son was subjected to anti-Semitic abuse.

The ‘Wall Street’ actor had a ”not pleasant” discussion with a man who left 14-year-old Dylan – his eldest child with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones – in tears following a tirade sparked by the teenager’s Star of David necklace, a symbol of his Jewish faith.

Michael – whose father Kirk is Jewish but mother Diana isn’t – said: ”Last summer our family went to Southern Europe on holiday. During our stay at a hotel, our son Dylan went to the swimming pool. A short time later he came running back to the room, upset. A man at the pool had started hurling insults at him.

”My first instinct was to ask, ‘Were you misbehaving?’ ‘No’, Dylan told me through his tears.

”I stared at him. And suddenly I had an awful realisation of what might have caused the man’s outrage: Dylan was wearing a Star of David.

”After calming him down, I went to the pool and asked the attendants to point out the man who had yelled at him. We talked. It was not a pleasant discussion. Afterward, I sat down with my son and said: ”Dylan, you just had your first taste of anti-Semitism.”

The 70-year-old actor – who also has daughter Carys, 11, with Catherine and grown-up son Cameron with ex-wife Diandra – wants people to work together to tackle anti-Semitism in the hope of eradicating it completely.

Writing for the Los Angeles Times newspaper, he added: ”If we confront anti-Semitism whenever we see it, if we combat it individually and as a society, and use whatever platform we have to denounce it, we can stop the spread of this madness.

”My son is strong. He is fortunate to live in a country where anti-Semitism is rare. But now he too has learned of the dangers that he as a Jew must face. It’s a lesson that I wish I didn’t have to teach him, a lesson I hope he will never have to teach his children.”

Kylie Minogue: Michael Hutchence is my archangel

Kylie Minogue believes Michael Hutchence is her ”archangel”.

The 46-year-old star has revealed she feels as though her late ex-boyfriend has been watching over her during her ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour, in which she performs a cover of his former band INXS’ hit single ‘Need You Tonight’.

She said: ”I feel like he’s with me. I don’t want a monster to be made out of that and people to say I’ve become Shirley MacLaine. But I feel like he’s my archangel, on this tour especially.”

Kylie admits she was unaware the track was so ”sexy” when it was a hit in 1987, when she was still starring in ‘Neighbours’ and hadn’t yet met one of the true loves of her life.

She shared: ”I don’t think I really knew what sexy was back then. But that’s a sexy song.”

The ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ hitmaker pays ”homage” to Hutchence during what she calls the Helmut Newton section of her tour, which features black and white imaging, and keeps her cover of ‘Need You Tonight’ as close to the original as possible.

She told news.com.au: ”Even what I’m wearing [on stage] is something I would have worn when I was dating Michael. There’s a definite homage to him. Hand on my heart every night before that song I have a moment to myself where I say, ‘This is for you’, and it feels really good.

”We kept saying through the whole tour in the UK and Europe, ‘Wait until we get to Australia, they will go nuts when they hear this song.’ ”

Sarah Brightman creates space song with Andrew Lloyd Webber

Sarah Brightman’s ex-husband Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber has written a song for her to sing in space.

The 54-year-old classical singer will travel to the International Space Station later this year and intends on becoming the ever international artist to perform live from space.

Sarah wants the track to be something special so she enlisted the help of the revered composer – who she divorced in 1990 – to create a

poignant piece of music.

Speaking at a press conference in London on Tuesday (03.10.15) to announce her journey into space, she said: ”I’ve been working on something with my ex-husband, Andrew Lloyd Webber and he’s thought of the most beautiful line for something so we’re just taking it slowly at the moment. Because of the complexities of this, I don’t want to promise too much because there is a reality to all this.”

Sarah – who is believed to have paid £35 million to fund the trip – is also taking into consideration the difference between singing on Earth and in zero gravity.

She explained: ”I’ve been working on various things, it’s finding a song which suits the idea of space and something that’s incredibly simple because to sing in micro-gravity is a very different thing to singing down on Earth.”

Sarah has been training as an astronaut since January after being accepted by the Russian Federal Space Agency as a space-flight participant for a planned flight arranged by Space Adventures, Ltd. The singer has been learning everything from wilderness survival to the Russian language in preparation for her journey and 10-day stay on the International Space Station.

For Sarah it is the realization of a life-long dream to go into space.

She said: ”When I was 9 years old, I watched the first man on the moon. It actually changed my perception about life. Suddenly, my mind opened and I started to really work on the career I have now.

”I thank that moment, it was pivotal in my life. I never really talked about it as it could never be a reality, it was all very abstract. But it was always my ambition to fly to space, it’s something I dreamed about and wanted. I now have the luck, I’m going up on the Russian Soyuz to the International Space Station.”

Sarah is working together with Challenger Center and NASA, to launch a program get young people excited about science, technology, engineering and mathematics and teach them how the arts can help unleash innovation and inspiration.

The summer-long initiative will see students create videos using lyrics from one of Sarah’s songs and video entries will be posted online for the public to view and they will be able to vote for their favorites.

The initiative will culminate in a special event during Sarah’s time aboard the ISS and fans will get the opportunity to chat with her while she is there.

Kim Kardashian West unhappy about TV deal

Kim Kardashian West is furious she will ”only” make $15 million from her new TV deal.

The 34-year-old beauty’s mother and manager Kris Jenner recently negotiated a new $100 million contract with E! for her family’s reality shows but her children are said to be unhappy with the way the cash will be split.

A source said: ”Kim’s ‘only’ getting $15 million, but she thinks she should get more. After all, it’s her who people are tuning in to see.”

Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, along with youngest sister Kylie Jenner, will each land $10 million but think they deserve more, especially with the former ‘X Factor’ host being in line to join the panel of ‘Fashion Police’.

And Scott Disick is particularly ”livid” that he and girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian – who have three children, Mason, five, Penelope, two, and two-month-old Reign – will split just $10 million between them.

The source told heat magazine: ”Kourtney and Scott will get $10 million between them but Scott is livid. He says it’s less, as the fee will be split between him and Kourt, plus their kids.”

Despite the unhappiness, it is unlikely any of the family members will walk away from their lucrative reality shows.

The source added: ”Everyone is up in arms, but let’s face it, they can’t leave the show.

”They have to sign in the next two weeks, so Kris is desperate to reign them in.”

In contrast, Kim’s husband Kanye West – with who she has 19-month-old daughter North – isn’t part of the deal but will earn $5 million even for brief appearances on ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, while Kris’ only son Rob Kardashian, who has increasingly retreated from the spotlight won’t get any money unless he appears on camera, but he ”couldn’t care less” about the arrangement.

Kris will earn $20 million from the contract, while her ex-husband Bruce Jenner, who is believed to be transitioning to a woman, is negotiating a separate deal with his sons Brody and Brandon and daughter-in-law Leah.

Kevin Spacey: I want kids

Kevin Spacey wants to be a father.

The 55-year-old actor – who doesn’t usually like to talk about his private life – is keen to have kids and believes he is still at an ”early” stage of his life to become a dad for the first time.

When asked if he relates to his ‘House of Cards’ character Frank Underwood and his wife Claire (Robin Wright) putting their careers before kids, Kevin replied: ”Er, no. I have wanted to have children. I do want to have children. It’s early.”

It is not known if Kevin is currently dating someone but one relationship he will always have is his love for London – where he has been artistic director at the Old Vic theater since 2014, but will be stepping down from the role later this year – as he admits he finds it impossible to saying anything negative about the city.

He explained: ”I think I’ll always be in both worlds [London and the theater]. I love it here. I’m so glad I did it.

”I love this country a great deal and there’s nothing I can say about it that would be negative.

”People thought I was f***ing out of my mind. Certainly in America they thought I was crazy. I don’t look so crazy now.”

But Kevin doesn’t share quite the same enthusiasm for watching shows such as ‘House of Cards’ back-to-back, admitting he is amazed that people manage to watch so many episodes of a program in one sitting.

He added to The Times newspaper: ”I’m not a binger. I don’t know how people do it. I hear people say that they stayed home all weekend and watched two seasons of the show: a) I don’t have time for it, and b) I’d fall asleep.”

Giorgio Armani hits back at Madonna

Giorgio Armani says Madonna is ”very difficult.”

The Italian fashion designer hit back at the ‘Living For Love’ hitmaker after she claimed the ”heavy” cape he designed was partially responsible for her falling off the stage at the BRIT Awards last Wednesday (02.25.15), but he insists it was her own fault.

Asked about the accident, the 80-year-old couturier told PEOPLE.com: ”Madonna, as we know, is very difficult. This cape had a hook and she wanted a tie, and she wasn’t able to open it with her hands. That’s all there is to it.”

The 56-year-old singer got ”a little whiplash” when she was pulled down a small flight of stairs by a dancer who was attempting to remove the huge cape during her performance at the ceremony in London, and claimed her ensemble was to blame.

She late said: ”Everybody was worried that my cape was going to slide off because it’s quite heavy, so they tied it really tight around my neck. So here I am marching in like a queen, and I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled my silky string, and it would not come undone. And my two lovely Japanese dancers basically strangled me off the stage. I had a choice: I could either be strangled or fall with the cape, and I fell.”

Despite the fall – during which the audience heard a loud thud as she toppled down the stairs and dropped her microphone – the ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker managed to continue with her performance.

She added: ”It was a nightmare, I like to be amazing, I rehearse and rehearse so when I do a show it is effortless and I create magic. I did the opposite, I actually created a horror show for everyone.”

Taylor Swift grants dying fan’s last wish

Taylor Swift granted a dying four-year-old fan’s last wish by speaking to her on the phone for 20 minutes.

The 25-year-old singer made a surprise FaceTime call to Jalene Salinas, who is suffering from an aggressive form of terminal brain cancer, on Monday (02.03.15) to make the youngster’s final dream come true after she expressed a desire to dance with Taylor to her hit ‘Shake it Off’.

Speaking to Jalene’s mother Jennifer Arriagas during the phone conversation, she said: ”I got back from London and I heard about her and it’s just unfathomable to have to watch your baby go through this.”

According to a USA Today report, Jalene was said to be ”in pain” and as a result ”didn’t talk much” to her heroine but she did say ”bye and thank you” to the superstar singer.

Jalene’s final dream came true after Taylor’s fans – known as Swifties – started a social networking campaign to get #ShakeItOffJalene trending after hearing about her dying wish.

Following the surprise chat, Jennifer admitted she is delighted all of Jalene’s wishes have now been ”checked off”.

She told KENS 5 News: ”We can check everything off and as her mom it means the world to me that she got to do and see [everything] and everything is checked off now.

”It means so much to me that you reached out to us.”

Lady Gaga gives Taylor Swift love life advice

Lady Gaga has promised Taylor Swift her ”prince charming will come”.

The ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker tweeted about the 28-year-old musician, praising her for ”fully LIVING right now” after she recently got engaged to actor Taylor Kinney, performed at the Oscars and secured a role in ‘American Horror Story’.

Taylor posted on Twitter: ”Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!? #goals (sic)”

The friendly message caught the eye of the ‘Do What U Want’ singer, who decided to reply to the 25-year-old pop star, calling her a ”sweetheart” and promising her she will also find love sometime soon.

Gag, 28, tweeted back: ”Wow you’re a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come! (sic)”

The heart-warming exchange follows comments made by Taylor in which she confessed she believes she will be single for at least the next five years because potential partners don’t want to be involved with her level of fame.

When asked where she’ll be in half a decade’s time, she jokingly answered: ”I’ll probably be single!

”No one is going to sign up for (being in a relationship with Taylor) and everything that goes with it.”
