Cruise-Holmes Wedding This Weekend

The Italian city if full of life while awaiting the Saturday wedding of the two celebrities.

The two stars were with their seven month-old daughter, Suri.  On Saturday, Cruise, 44, and Holmes, 27, will marry at the Odescalchi Castle just 40 kilometres northwest of Rome.  The two have been dating since June, 2005.

The small Italian town has been flooded with people and paparazzi since it was announced as the wedding site.  It is rumoured that the 15th century castle has rented a room with a view of the nuptial motorcade for more than 100 000 Euros to a TV news agency.

Britney Spears Selling Home

According to Access Hollywood, the star no longer wants to live in the home that she shared with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

Spears, 24, purchased the 8 bedroom home in October 2004 for $6.9 million.  According to the current market, the California home may now be sold for nearly $13.5 million.

The singer and her ex-husband are just beginning a divorce battle.  The two, who have been married since September, 2004, have two children.

Big Boi Talks About His Solo Disc

During an interview with MTV, the rapper explained, "You’re going to get something from every genre, every funk, beat, loop, horn, whistle. We got it all on the record."

Outkast came to fame with their successful Speakerboxxx, released in 2003.

The title of the CD is unknown for the moment, but should be released some time in 2007.  Big Boi added, "I’m going to try to keep it in-house."

Pirelli Places Ad in Movie Trailer

Pirelli, known for ingenious marketing campaigns, has now placed their product within the trailer for the film The Call.

Directed by Antoine Fugua (Training Day, King Arthur), the short clip stars John Malkovich (as a priest) and Naomi Campbell (as the devil).

Katie Holmes Prepares to Tie the Knot

The star of the film Batman Begins recently visited the West Hollywood boutique La Bra Lingerie, where she selected items for her November 18 wedding.

According to MSNBC, the 27 year-old actress didn’t hesitate to spend $440 for a bra, and $340 for underwear, among other high end items.

Currently, Holmes’ future husband, Tom Cruise, is in Rome with his mother and his children preparing for the weekend wedding.

Britney Spears Takes Refuge At Parents’ Home

The star, who filed for divorce from Kevin Federline on November 7, hopes to win full custody of her two sons, Sean Preston, 14 months, and Jayden James, two months.

Monday, the pop singer had dinner with her family at a restaurant in Kentwood, Louisiana.

After announcing her plans to separate from her husband, Britney Spears has been through many difficult moments.  Federline is asking for $30 million and custody of their two children.

Federline is also threatening to release home video tapes of the former couple having sex.

Tom Cruise to Work With Robert Redford

The drama, which also stars Meryl Streep, follows three inter-connecting stories.  Cruise will play a congressman who has to deal with a journalist (Streep).

Robert Redford will also star as a professor, and a connecting story revolves around American soldiers, who were former students.

Filming for Lions for Lambs will begin in the fall of 2007.

Brian Wilson’s Life to Be Made Into Film

According to Variety, Wilson’s friend of thirty years, filmmaker David Leaf, will be guiding the movie about the life and career of the singer.

Wilson revealed, "I love the idea of there being a movie on my life, and I can’t wait to see the script."

U2 Wins Their Case

Lola Cashman, who worked for U2 in 1987, has been ordered to return the items to their owners by a Dublin judge.

The woman, who has maintained that the items were given to her by the band members, worked with U2 during the Joshua Tree tour.

The items, valued at more than $6,000, were to be auctioned by Christie’s.

Borat To Adapt Dîner de cons

The British star who is still making it big at box offices with his Kazakh character touring the United States, will be adapting one of the most popular French comedies in history.

The film will be titled Dinner for Schmucks and will begin filming in 2008.  Sacha Baron Cohen will be starring in the film which was originally directed by Francis Veber in 1998.  The story follows friends who organize a weekly dinner.
