Jennifer Lopez Honoured

The star, who has her own line of beauty products and clothing, was given a prize bye the Accessories Excellence Council.

The ceremony took place in Manhattan, and also honoured well-known designers such as Michael Kors, Tom Ford and Rachel Zoe.

The Accessories Excellence Council, which was created in 1996, recognises the best designers in the accessories industry.

Marcia Cross In Nude Photo Scandal

Pictures of the Desperate Housewives star were found in her garbage, and now Cross wants them to be returned.

According to the New York Daily News, a man who was working for the trash company found the photos after they were placed in the garbage of the star’s Los Angeles home.

An agent for the trash company revealed, "there are some pictures of her showering outside" and "she looks absolutely gorgeous."

A lawyer for Cross mentioned that the pictures remain the property of his client, regardless of where they were found.

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe Separate

The news was announced by a spokesperson for the couple, who said, "We are saddened to announce that Reese & Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time."

Witherspoon, 30, and Phillipe, 32, met in 1997 on the birthday of the actress.  They married in June of 1999, and have two children, Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3.

Witherspoon earned an Oscar for her performance in the 2006 film Walk The Line.

Phillippe is best known for his roles in the films Flags of Our Fathers, Crash, Gosford Park and 54 among others.

Saw IV Coming in 2007

After Saw III took in $34.3 million during its weekend opening in North America, Lionsgate Studios announced that they will put a fourth film together.

For three years, the studio has released the films just in time for Halloween.

The movies follow the macabre story of Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), a murderer who develops games in which his participants must fight for their lives.

The man of politics, who celebrated his 60th birthday last August, was enjoying the party with his friends and colleagues.

Organised by the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation, the event also brought wealthy donators.  The weekend party included golf, a series of cocktail events, dinner in New York and the Rolling Stones concert.  Tickets for the three-day event were priced at $60,000.  VIP tickets, which included the best concert seats and a photograph with Clinton went for $500,000.

The Clinton Foundation hopes to fight AIDS in Africa, and world-wide poverty.

Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn Reunite

For several weeks, stories have been reported that have the two Hollywood stars ending their relationship.  Aniston then went on the Oprah Winfrey Show to set the record straight, that the pair had not split.

Last Friday, the two stars showed the world that they were in fact together in the English capital.

According to Us Weekly, the pair shared a suite in a London hotel and ordered room service and wine.

In the morning, they went to see the musical Wicked before returning to their hotel.

It had been nearly two months that Aniston and Vaughn had been apart, while Vaughn filmed a project in England.

Brian Singer To Direct Next Superman Flick

Warner Studios undoubtedly hopes to again find box office success by bringing the super hero back to the screen.  The last film, starring Brandon Routh, earned $390 million, and was made for a cost of $270 million.

The follow up film to Superman Returns is expected to be in theatres before 2009.

Sacha Baron Cohen To Play Bruno

This next project is at the centre of an intense bidding war in Hollywood.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures has offered $42 million for the rights to the film.  Other contenders include DreamWorks, Sony, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. Pictures.

If all goes as planned, Bruno will begin filming next summer.  Baron Cohen will play a gay Austrian fashionista.

Will Ferrell To Star in Semi-Pro

The story of Semi-Pro takes place in the world of professional basketball in the 1970s.

Farrell will play Jackie Moon, the flambouyant owner/player/coach of a Flint, Michigan team.

In addition to Farrell, Woody Harrelson will star in the comedy.

Filming is set to begin in early 2007.
