T.V. Commerical Airs for Superman Returns

Director Bryan Singer (X2, X-Men, The Usual Suspects) is bringing Superman back to the screen after a long absence.  When he returns to earth, not only will he be battling new enemies, but he will also learn that his love, Lois Lane, has started a new life without him.

The film stars Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, James Marsden, Frank Langella, Eva Marie Saint, Parker Posey, Sam Huntington, Kal Penn and Kevin Spacey, and will open in theatres on June 30.

Watch the Trailer for Miami Vice

The film, which is directed by Michael Mann (Heat, The Insider, The Last of the Mohicans), also stars Gong Li, Naomie Harris and Ciaran Hinds.

Miami Vice is the cinematic adaptation of the popular television series about the adventures of Ricardo Tubbs (Foxx) and Sonny Crockett (Farrell), who are two cops fighting the drug lords of Miami.

Robbie Williams Reunites with Take That

According to The Sun, Williams invited Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Gary Barlow to meet him at a London hotel after their concert earlier that week.  The band members would love to have Williams back on their tour, although their meeting was the first among the former mates.  A source told the paper, "Robbie looked a bit nervous waiting for the boys. He was sat on his own at the bar."

The source then added, "They looked quite emotional. They haven’t all been in a room all together for almost 11 years – it was like old times."

Robbie Williams plans to perform with Take That for their Manchester show.

Elle MacPherson Enjoys Her Single Life

The runway star, who has recently ended a long-term relationship, spoke with Barbara Walters for a television interview.  When Walters asked if she had someone new in her life, Elle replied, "I have lots of people in my life."

MacPherson went on to add that she didn’t plan to be single, but as she is, she is enjoying her new status nonetheless.  She added, "Listen, I’m single at the moment so everything is joyous and spontaneous."

Matt Damon Wants to Save Africa

In an interview with Access Hollywood, the star of movies such as Good Will Hunting, and The Bourne Identity, among others, expressed that it was possible to fight this disease.

The actor spent six days in Zambia, a country where 16% of the population have AIDS.

The actor visited many areas, including clinics that are financially supported by the American government.

He praised the government’s relief efforts.  "You walk into these clinics; you’re surrounded by people who are alive and well because of the president’s plan and because of this money," he said.

Paris Hilton Inspired By Nicole Richie

In an interview with the magazine Out, the star of the television series Simple Life, revealed the details of one of the songs from her first album.

When she discussed the song Jealousy, Hilton did not want to confirm that it was about her co-star Ritchie, with whom she has been having conflicts.

She explained, "It’s a song about any girl… Any girl has a girlfriend that’s jealous of you. It’s the meanest, most evil thing that can take over you."

As for Richie, Hilton stated, "I brought her on [‘The Simple Life’], and all of a sudden she became this different person. She dropped her old friends and now she’s someone else. That’s not the girl I know. That’s similar to the lyrics in ‘Jealousy.’ "

A release date for the album has not been revealed.

The Next Indiana Jones With Fewer Special Effects

In an interview with MTV, the famous director stated that Hollywood films need to adapt to the new reality.

He added, "I think Tom Cruise proved that people are getting bored with that kind of stuff…What they want to see is something different. And ‘Indiana Jones,’ if nothing else, is always different."

Lucas was very vague about the production timeline. "We’re working on it, we’re working on it. We’ve been working on it for 10 years. I think it’ll be a great film, but it’s completely different. It’s still got a lot of action, and it’s still very funny, " he stated.

After a multitude of reports that the script was not strong enough, Indiana Jones 4, starring Harrison Ford, will be filmed in he Dominican Republic in the next few months. It should be in theatres in May 2007.

Two New Projects for Pierce Brosnan

Brosnan, who has played Bond, will be acting opposite Patricia Clarkson, Rachel McAdams and Chris Cooper in a 40’s drama, Marriage.  Brosnan will play a man that wishes to be free of his wife, and divorce her.

His second project is the sequel to The Thomas Crown Affair.  This 1994 movie co-starring Rene Russo had made more than $124 million at the box office worldwide.

Snoop Dogg Meets the Police

The singer had to return to London to be questioned in regards to the events that happened on april 26.

Dogg, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus, was among other protesters, that were arrested at Heathrow Airport, for public disorder, and use of threatening words.

The 34 year old had to explain his involvement, and following this, ten people were arrested.  Seven police officers were injured during this brawl.

First Trailer for New Owen Wilson Movie

This movie is starring Wilson, Kate Hudson, Matt Dillon, Michael Douglas, Amanda Detmer and Bill Hader.  It is a comedy showing what life is like for Carl (Matt Dillon) and Molly (Kate Hudson), when they started living together.  Everything was going well, until the arrival of Dupree (Owen Wilson).  Dupree is one of Carl’s old friends, and he has nowhere to go.
