According to Access Hollywood, the model attacked her 41 year-old cleaning woman in her home.  The woman was treated at Lenox Hill hospital for lacerations to her head.

A spokesperson for the star said in a statement, "We believe this is a case of retaliation, because Naomi had fired her housekeeper earlier this morning. We are confident the courts will see it the same way."

It’s not the first time that Campbell has been at the centre of such a controversy.  In August, 2004, police were called to her Manhattan apartment for a domestic altercation.  Also, in 1998 she was found guilty of attacking an assistant with a telephone.
