Watch the Trailer for Cars

Directed by John Lasseter (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, A Bug’s Life), the film features the voices of Paul Newman, Owen Wilson, Bonnie Hunt, Cheech Marin, George Carlin, Richard Petty, Michael Keaton, Tony Shalhoub, John Ratzenberger, Michael Wallis, Paul Dooley and Jennifer Lewis.

Beckhams Reach Out of Court Settlement

The two parties have announced that they have agreed to settle the case, although the details of the agreement were not revealed.

The News of the World had previously reported that the Beckhams were only pretending to be a happily married couple, and were on the verge of divorce.  The story was based on information from the Beckham’s former nanny.

Rumours about the couple’s falseness began in 2004, when Rebecca Loos, a former assistant to the captain of Britain’s football team, revealed that she had been involved in a sexual relationship with Beckham.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Waits Tables

The star of the films Chicago, The Terminal and The Mask of Zorro, among others, showed a new talent to the patrons at Fiamma.

Zeta-Jones is preparing for her role as a chef in the film Mostly Martha.  One person who witnessed the star’s service said, "One night she did a little serving. A few people said to her, ‘You look so much like Catherine Zeta-Jones’. "And she said, ‘Oh, I get that all the time.’"

The restaurant owner said, "She’s been doing a lot in the kitchen. "She’s a great garnisher.  She does a nice job."

John Cusack’s Next Film

Cusack, who has starred in the films Being John Malkovich, High Fidelity and Identity, among others, will work under the direction of Mikael Hafstrom (Derailed).

The film follows the attempt by a specialist to determine why paranormal events are taking place in room 1408 of the Dolphin Hotel.  Filming for the project, entitled 1408, is scheduled to begin this summer.

David Hasselhoff Was a Violent Husband

Actress Pamela Bach, 42, told a Los Angeles Superior Court, that her ex-husband, David Hasselhoff, was violent.  On Monday, Bach asked the court to issue a restraining order to the former Baywatch star.  The judge, however, refused the request, and instead instructed the two actors to stay away from eachother.

Hasselhoff filed for divorce last January after 16 years of marriage, citing irreconciliable differences.  Bach also filed for divorce on the same grounds.

Hasselhoff played Mitch Buchannon on Baywatch from 1989 until 2000.  In the 1980s, he also starred in the television series Knight Rider.

Bach starred in the soap opera The Young and the Restless and also appeared in episodes of Baywatch and Knight Rider.

Sharon Stone Hopes for Peace

The star was in Israel, where she was invited by the Peres Center for Peace, and also where she spent her 48th birthday.  Showing her charm, the actress told the crowd, "I would kiss just about anybody for peace in the Middle East! "

Stone also spoke out to the women, saying, "The most wonderful thing that has happened is that women found freedom, but what do we do with it? Are we women in our freedom? We didn’t ask for freedom to become men, but to aid them with our feminine instinct."

She added, "It’s time for women to be part of negotiations, because they have a different language. Imagine I was considering going to war, let’s discuss, let’s consider the other angles.’"

Jessica Simpson Becomes Lobbyist

According to Female First, the star and lawyers from Operation Smile, will soon travel to Washington to speak on behalf of the children’s charity, which provides for children with facial abnormalities.

Last year, Simpson was invited to Africa by Operation Smile to see how the charity can make a difference.

A source close to the organisation confirms, "She’s in the phase of her life now where she wants to use her celebrity for good."

U2 Cancels Concerts

The concerts were to take place next month in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, but will be delayed due to an illness of one of the bandmember’s family.

No other details were given, although the tour promoter said that the concerts would be rescheduled as soon as possible.

U2 had a very successful evening at the recent Grammy Awards, winning five categories for their disc, How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.
