The 23 year-old pop singer and her husband have named the baby Sean Preston.
The singer posted this comment on her official website, "We are ecstatic to announce the birth of our son! Everyone is happy, healthy and doing wonderful. Thank you for all your love and well wishes!!"
According to Access Hollywood, the singer and Federline arrived at UCLA Hospital at 5:00 a.m. with a police escourt. In a few hours, mother Lynne Spears and sister Jamie Lynn joined Britney at the hospital.
Spears occupied 8 rooms of the fifth floor for family members and security guards. The bill for the extra space was $20,000 per night.
The 17 year-old boy from Massachusetts gained access to Hilton’s cell phone last February. He then published the address book in the phone’s directory on the internet. The incident resulted in dozens of celebrities receiving unwanted calls.

Further, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett Smith have all agreed to reprise their respective roles.
Madagascar 2 is expected to be ready for audiences in 2008.
According to Female First, the band would be willing to go to Iraq if the American or British governments were interested.
Singer Mick Jagger said, "The boys are doing a very professional and a very tough job over there and they aren’t getting a lot of fun. If we were asked to go it would be a very, very serious consideration."
Jagger then added, "Just because I don’t support the policy doesn’t mean I don’t support the troops. That was one of the tragedies of Vietnam."
Filming was to take place in New Orleans, Louisiana, the place hardest hit by the storm.
In the film, Miller will play the role of Edie Sedgwick, the muse to Andy Warhol.

Jolie explained, "She was six months and not nine pounds. Her skin, you could squeeze it, it stuck together… It was terrifying. Some children who were in a very similar situation to her passed away."
Now, the baby girl is doing much better. Jolie continued, "She’s gained six pounds. We’re calling her chubby – she’s just a totally different baby. It’s amazing what difference food and little bit of care makes."
The star is also the mother of an adopted son, Maddox, who also loves the new addition to their family. "They’re the greatest little people that I’ve ever met. They give me so much joy and I wanna make a better world for them. I’m just grateful every day that I have the chance."
The two 19 year-old stars have already conquered the girl market with their products, and next year will be focusing on creating the same success in the male market.
Ashley says, "My sister and I started the whole ‘tween empire. I definitely see the potential for boys to do that sort of thing."
The Olsen’s company, Dualstar Entertainment Group, has signed a contract with twin boys Cole and Dylan Sprousse. The two young stars have worked on Friends and in the comedy Big Daddy.
The Olsen sisters think that the twins will be perfect for a new collection of DVDs, CDs, merchandise and clothing, as well as a video game for cell phones.
The new products should be in stores next year.
