Kylie Minogue To Return in Spring

Minogue was forced to cancel her world tour when she was diagnosed with cancer last year.  She went through surgery and treatment and is now cancer free and ready to return to her life.

According to the British paper Sunday People, Minogue’s back-up singers were thrilled to hear the news.  The paper reported, "When the tour was cancelled, everyone’s first thought, naturally, was for Kylie’s health."

"The team weren’t given any indication of if or when the dates would be re-scheduled and were just left hanging. So imagine their delight and surprise when they were told it would be back on in the spring."

Jenny McCarthy Files for Divorce

The 32 year-old star and her husband, John Asher, met on the set of Diamonds in 1999.

McCarthy, best known for her sexy photos and roles in the films Scary Movie 3 and The Perfect You, and Asher have a three year-old son, Evan.

Jenny McCarthy is currently working on the film Rollin.

Scarlett Johansson In Car Accident

The incident occured Friday, when Johansson (Lost in Translation, The Island) was on her way to Disneyland with two friends.

According to the police report, the actress was driving a Mercedes and was being pursued by a photographer.  In an attempt to evade the photographer, Johansson swerved and hit a car with a woman and her two daughters.  No one was injured in the accident.

According to a representative for the actress, "The fender bender was induced by the paparazzi, who chased her for 45 minutes."

This isn’t the first time that a star has been involved in an accident caused by paparazzi.  In June, Lindsay Lohan was intentionally hit by a photographer, and Reese Witherspoon was trapped by a group of journalists last April.

Courtney Love is Pregnant

According to ITV, the former singer from the group Hole, 41, has disclosed the fact that she is pregnant.

She told the paper: "Yes, I am pregnant with Steve’s baby, but I’d rather not talk about our relationship."

Apparently, the child was conceived at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Hollywood.

Love, who is the widow of Kurt Cobain, the former Nirvana frontman, was admitted into a drug treatment program after being arrested for drug possession.

Steve Coogan recently ended his marriage to Caroline Hickman.  Coogan, 39, has also had problems with drugs and alcohol.

Bruce Willis Teams with Halle Berry

Filming on the project is set to begin in 2006.  Perfect Stranger is about the internet world.  Berry will play a woman who goes online to investigate the murder of her friend.  Willis will star as one of the suspects.

Courtney Love Back in Detox

Judge Rand Rubin of the Superior Court had ordered the star to begin treatment after she admitted having used drugs while she was on probation.

The judge explained, "I think that you need to hit rock bottom before you make a decision about what you’re going to do in the future."

The star was choked up with emotion, and told the judge she understood the court’s ruling.

Love must complete another 28 day rehab programme.  Her lawyer confirmed that she would be admitted to a centre by the end of the day.  He did not specify which rehabilitation centre.

The former singer of the group Hole must go back to court on September 16 to be sentenced for having violated her probabation.

The Rolling Stones Under Police Surveillance

The British rock group will be kicking off its world tour at Fenway Park in Boston, on August 21.

City authorities have warned the group about the level of noise.  They cannot surpass 70 decibels in the neighbouring streets.

If the noise level is assessed as being too high, the Mayor’s Office of Consumer Affairs and Licensing will call the concert host and demand that it be lowered.

This is in an effort to respect the residents in the neighbourhood surrounding the park.

Verne Troyer Files for Divorce

The actor played in the Austin Powers movies, and filed for divorce after finding his wife in bed with another man.

Troyer is a 32-inch tall star, and had his heart broken by his wife who is 6’2.

Last year, the actor tried to annul his marriage .  Gallen has always claimed that her husband’s height was not an issue.  She says it was moreso that he had a lot of women coming on to him.

The couple separated in 2002 for the first time.  Troyer tried to commit suicide after this heartbreak.

Rumours That Kirsten Dunst is Pregnant

The actress played in movies such as Spider-Man.  She and her fiancé, actor, Jake Gyllenhaal were seen buying prenatal vitamins.

According to the magazine In Touch, witnesses saw the couple in a Hollywood pharmacy.  Gyllenhaal apparently asked an employee about the product in question.

Kirsten Dunst will be back in the spotlight in October when the movie Elizabethtown is released.  Orlando Bloom is also starring in this film.

World Music Awards in Hollywood

The 2005 award ceremony is doing a tribute to group Bon Jovi and singer Carlos Santana.

The World Music Awards are awarded by the number of albums sold, around the world.  This evening will be held on August 31, live, from Hollywood.

Profits from this evening are given to the Monaco Aide et Présence Foundation, that helps orphan and sick children around the world.
