Jude Law Makes A Public Apology

The 32 year-old star expressed his "sincere regrets" to his fiance, actress Sienna Miller.

He wrote a letter to the British Press Association, which stated, "Following the reports in today’s papers, I just want to say I am deeply ashamed and upset that I’ve hurt Sienna and the people most close to us,"

"I want to publicly apologize to Sienna and our respective families for the pain that I have caused.  There is no defence for my actions which I sincerely regret and I ask that you respect our privacy at this very difficult time."

Jude Law and Sienna Miller have been together since they met on the set of the film Alfie.  They became engaged in December, 2004.

Ben Foster Joins X-Men 3

According to Variety, Foster (Six Feet Under, Hostage, The Punisher) will play Archangel (alias Angel).

In the comics, carefree millionaire Warren Worthington III is the hero Angel.  His world comes crashing down when dark forces conspired to clip his wings. 

Foster joins a cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen and Ian McKellen.

Filming for the third installment begins August 2nd in Vancouver.  The film is scheduled for release in May, 2006.

Pamela Anderson Helps Courtney Love

According to the New York Daily News, Love thinks Anderson is a great motivator.

She explained, "Pamela Anderson runs with me up the steps of Pepperdine University. She’s like my personal trainer. I’m a size-30 jeans now."

Courtney Love, 31, wants to get her life back together after a difficult year.  She recently finished a detoxification program after being arrested for drug possession.

The singer and actress has also recently joined the cast of the Martin Scorsese film Hello, Sucker.

Eminem Pondering Retirement

According to the Detroit Free Press, one of the members of the group D-12, Proof, announced the news.

Proof explained, "Em has definitely got to the level where he feels like he’s accomplished everything he can accomplish in rap."

"He wants to kick back and get into the producing thing," said Proof. "Why not bow out while you’re on top?"

The ceremony was held Saturday with 300 friends and relatives.  Bullock, 40, and James, 35, also invited several friends from the theatre and music world.

It is the first marriage for the actress and the third for James.

Rolling Stones Having Jam Session in Toronto

As usual, the legendary group has chosen Toronto to prepare for their tour.  The grandfathers of rock are jamming at Greenwood College School.

The Brits also chose Toronto to prepare for the Voodoo Lounge tour in 1994, the Bridges to Babylon tour in 1997, and the Licks tour in 2002.

The new tour starts on August 21st in Boston.

Eminem’s Tour Bus Crashes

The accident happened in Missouri.  Rapper Stat Quo and DJ Alchemist, were both transported to the hospital.  Quo has since been released.

According to police, the bus driver from the Anger Management tour was driving too fast to control the vehicle.  After the initial impact with a truck, the bus also hit two cars and two motorcycles.

The Anger Management tour played on in Denver, Colorado on Thursday.

Cameron Diaz Takes the Stand

Diaz told the court that she was excited to have the topless photos taken in 1992, as she thought it would boost her modelling career.  However, the photographer, John Rutter, recently attempted to extort the star.  Diaz stated that Rutter, 42, asked her for 3.3 million dollars to return the photographs and negatives to her.

When she refused to pay, Rutter attempted to sell the pics, using what Diaz calls a forged signature of her authorization.

Rutter is convicted of grand theft, perjury and forgery, and if convicted he could face up to 6 years in prison.

The actress told the court, "I have never signed my name like that."
