Joss Stone Fails Driver Test

The 18 year-old was extremely sad after learning that she didn’t pass the test in the United States.

The singer confessed to Female First, "I’m actually a good driver, it wasn’t my fault. This big truck came and tried to hit me… I pressed on the brake and then the lady that was testing me, she wanted me to accelerate, for some reason. I don’t know why. I think she was trying to kill me, too…

"I was like literally just out (on the road), and then she turned back. ‘Okay, we’re going back now.’ It was like five minutes later. I’m like, ‘Shit!’".

Eminem and Apple Settle Suit

In February, 2004, Eminem’s company Eight Mile Style filed a lawsuit in Detroit against Apple and their publicity company TBWA/Chiat/Day.  Eminem claimed that Apple used his song for an advertisement without obtaining permission.

Lawyers for Eight Mile Style stated, "The parties were able to reach an amicable resolution."

Apple used the song Lose Yourself in an ad for iPod and the iTunes product.  The commericials were shown for three months without permission from the singer.

Halle Berry Ready for Artificial Insemination

According to IOL, there is a child missing for the star to feel complete.  Berry confessed, "I’d love to have a baby, love to be a mom… I really need that in my life. So, hopefully the next decade can be dedicated to that."

The 38 year-old actress understands that it might be difficult without a regular partner, but plans to move ahead with her life.

She added, "I know many people who have done it (artificial insemination) successfully and I respect their choice to say I don’t have someone in my life, but I still want to experience motherhood. So, that’ s an option.  I’ll work it out. Somehow, I plan on making it happen."

The two met in 2000 while working together on an advertisement campaign for Martini.

Some tension arose when Snowdon refused to leave her native country to live in the United States.

Last week, rumours were circulating when Snowdon was spotted shopping at a bridal shop.

A Live CD/DVD for Seal

Live in Paris will be on sale one year after his memorable performance for Warner.  The CD will contain 14 songs, and the DVD will have an addition of 4 more.

The two versions will offer fans the biggest songs from his career, including Crazy, Prayer for the Dying, Kiss From a Rose, Don’t Cry and Love’s Divine.  The four additional songs on the DVD are Deep Water, Hey Joe, Whirlpool and Don’t Make Me Wait.

Jennifer Garner is Pregnant

According to E! News, the actor has confirmed the news that his fiance is three months pregnant.

Even with the big news, Garner didn’t abandon the current filming of her next film.  The star will be in the romantic comedy Catch and Release which is scheduled to begin filming next week in Vancouver for two months.

The expected due date for the child in November may cause difficulty for Garner, who will continue with her work on the series Alias, which begins in July.

Affleck, 32, and Garner, 33, met on the set of Daredevil in 2003.  It will be the first child for both.

First Images of New Harry Potter Film

Directed by Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Donnie Brasco, Mona Lisa Smile), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be in theatres next November.

The fourth adventure of the apprentice sorcerer stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Robbie Coltrane and Ralph Fiennes.  In this entry, the students of Poudlard must confront their worst enemy, Voldemort.

The Beckhams Hope to Quiet Their Nanny

The High Court accepted an agreement between the Beckham couple and Abbie Gibson.  According to the agreement, the woman can not discuss the case while waiting for the court to decide the outcome of their upcoming legal battle.

A lawsuit was filed after the nanny was interviewed by Britain’s News of the World, where she spoke about the couple’s marriage problems.

Abbie Gibson, 27, worked for two years with the Beckham family in Madrid.  She had previously signed an agreement barring her from discussing private matters of the Beckham household.

A London university film class took a survey of 3,000 people, and the movie took first place, beating Harry Potter, Home Alone and The Goonies.

According to the researchers, Back to the Future combines the right ingrediants essential for a family film.  "Everyone wants to see the good guys win and so social justice makes up the final element for the ultimate family film."
