Liz Hurley to Put Career on Hold

Hurley, who is known for her successful film series Austin Powers, has chosen to spend more time with her three-year old son Damian.

The 39 year-old explained: "I don’t want to leave my son for such long periods of time."

"A movie is three months and I’ve decided not to do that until he’s older."

Beckham Family Secrets

According to a former nanny employed by the couple for two years, Abbie Gibson, the marriage of the footballer and former Spice Girl is seriously on the rocks.

The story was first made public in the London paper News of the World which then travelled to Spain, where the couple lives. 

Gibson may have been paid 300,000 pounds ($575,000 US) for her story.

Saturday, lawyers for the couple filed papers to stop the woman from talking about them.  Actually, Gibson had previously signed a contract that makes her unable to discuss the private life of the celebrity couple.

According to a representative for the Beckhams, all legal avenues will be explored, "We have to consult our lawyers on which actions we can take."

The two have worked together in the past with 1995’s Crimson Tide and Man on Fire last year.

This time, Washington would play the fole of an FBI agent who can travel through time.  He falls in love with a woman as her murder approaches.

Scarlett Johansson Works with Woody Allen Again

Johansson and Allen have worked together before in the film Match Point last summer.  That film was presented for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival.

For the new project, which hasn’t yet been titled, the two will travel to London to begin filming in June.

The director who typically makes his films in New York, will be doing his second film in England’s capital.

Marriage in Sight for Elton John

According to the newspaper the Mirror, the star plans to marry his partner David Furnish soon after civil marriages between same-sex partners becomes legal in England on December 5. 

He said: "We definitely want to do it about the middle of December, probably in Windsor. But there will be no honeymoon. I’m on tour."

He added: "Meeting David has been the greatest thing to happen to me. Yes, we spend a lot of time apart. It’s hard, but we make it work."

Star Wars: Episode III is Finished

The news was announced by Rick McCallum, the producer of Star Wars Celebration III, which is happening now in Indianapolis.

The production team finished work on the last film, but left the ending for filmmaker George Lucas to complete on Wednesday.

According to McCallum, the film was a special project for George Lucas and his good friend, director Steven Spielberg.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith will be released world-wide on May 19.  It will also be the final film of the Star Wars series, which began in 1977.

Bruce Willis is Single Again

The star of the Die Hard films has decided to end his relationship with actress Nadia Bjorlin.  They began dating last year.

A friend of the former opera singer tells US tabloid the Globe, "Nadia is shattered. She wanted to tell the world about their romance and was saying it was love at first sight for her."

"She’s praying that Bruce will have second thoughts and give her another chance.", she added.

Since his separation with actress Demi Moore in October, 2000, the 50 year-old actor has had many girlfriends.  Apparently none are in the picture at the moment.

Madonna Being Sued

Hamish Hamilton states that the star has not paid for a documentary that was being done during her recent Reinvention tour.

The director, respected for his work with U2, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, says that he asked the star for the money owed him.

According to Hamilton, the filming of the documentary was done in New York, London, Florida and France.  He is suing for payment for directing and production fees.

His company, Done and Dusted Ltd., filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles.

Mariah Carey Wants to Write for Children

According to MTV, the 35 year-old singer, who has returned to the top of the music charts, has announced that she is working on a series of books entitled Automatic Princess.

Carey began working on the first book of the series last summer.  According to Carey, the stories will follow the life of a bi-racial, orphaned girl.  The books will also draw on some of her on experiences. 

The singer said, "It’s still something I really want to do, and I’m going to do, and I’m going to start getting that into production soon."

It seems as though the singer is following a familiar path…Madonna has also started working on writing children’s books.

Black Eyed Peas To Do Solo Discs

The hip-hop group is about to release their new album, Monkey Business, on June 7.  After that, they are planning on going their separate ways to record.

The rapper Taboo confirmed the news on MTV, "Fergie has her record, I have a Spanish record coming out and Apl has a Pilipino record coming out," Taboo said. "We decided to branch out and show the world that we as individuals could represent our own styles."

Taboo also stated that the Black Eyed Peas are not breaking up, and will be making music together again.
