Courtney Love to be a Porn Star

According to the magazine Variety, Love will play Linda Boreman, alias Linda Lovelace, who became a legend after starring in the porn movie Deep Throat in 1972.

Even though the film was banned in 23 American states, it generated more than $600 million in revenues.

Linda Lovelace, a married woman from New York, has always claimed that she was never paid for her part in the film.  She also became an important figure in the American feminist movement.  In April, 2002, at the age of 53, Lovelace died in an automobile accident.

Love, 40, already played a similar role in the story of the American porn giant Larry Flynt, in the film The People vs. Larry Flynt.

New Trailer for Fantastic Four

The four superheros from the Marvel comic book series are the stars of the show.

Directed by filmmaker Tim Story (Taxi), Fantastic Four stars Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm/The Thing), Jessica Alba (Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm/The Human Torch).

Fantastic Four will be on screens around the world in July.

More Witnesses for the Michael Jackson Trial

The judge has authorized the plaintiff to bring the previous cases against Jackson into trial.  The five boys in the former cases have reached out of court settlements.

The past cases will be used by the prosecution to show that this case is not the first assault by Jackson against children.  The defence was deeply opposed to allowing this evidence into court.

According to the lawsuit, all the boys are between the ages of 10 and 13 at the time of the presumed offences.

The trial for the singer is taking place in Santa Maria, California.

50 Cent to Join the Beatles

Last week, 50 Cent had 4 songs in the top 10 of the American Billboard chart.  Only the Beatles had previously achieved this in 1964.

The songs Candy Shop and Disco Inferno, from the disc The Massacre, as well as Hate It or Love It, and How We Do from Game.  The songs are respectively #1, #5, #6 and #8.

Even with this remarkable success by the rapper, the Beatles are still the only artists to hold the top 5 spots on the North American chart.

According to the magazine Variety, the British actor Rowan Atkinson has already started working on the project, to be completed at the end of 2005.

The famous character, first seen on television in January 1990, earned more than 232 million dollars at box-offices around the world in 1997.

A New Villain for Spider-Man

The 43 year-old actor, nominated at the recent Oscars ceremony for his role in Sideways, will combat Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man) in the third web-slinging film, due out in May, 2007.

Haden Church joins British actor Alfred Molina, as Dr. Octopus, and Willem Dafoe, as the Green Goblin.

Angelina Jolie the Sexiest Woman of the World

Readers from across the globe voted in the FHM magazine poll, for the sexiest woman on the planet.

The 29 year-old star, topped the list of 100 women, but suprisingly, Britney Spears was not included. 

According to editor Scott Gramling, the singer who won the title last year, was removed from the list due to her recent marriage to Kevin Federline.  He said: "She was taken off the market. It broke the hearts of men 18 to 35."

The other 4 women rounding out the top 5 sexiest women of the world were Jennifer Garner, Paris Hilton, Charlize Theron and Halle Berry.  Berry earned the #1 spot in 2003.

Michael Jackson May Perform in Vegas

According to magazine Us Weekly,  it’s none other than "the Donald" Trump himself, who hopes to hire Jackson as a permanent performer at his New Frontier Hotel and Casino.

If the singer, 46, does the show, he could earn more than $80 million, as Céline Dion has done at her show at the Colosseum of Caesars Palace.

According to the magazine, they would include a morals clause in the contract.

Jackson is currently on trial in Santa Maria, California, facing charges of sexual molestation against a minor.

Michael Jackson regularly visits Las Vegas, to visit the homes of his parents and sister, LaToya.

New Releases of Titanic on DVD

The new DVDs will be available as a 2-disc special edition, or a 4-disc collector’s edition, and both will include many new bonus materials.

The producers announced that the new releases will allow fans of the film, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, a first look at plenty of previously unseen footage.

Canadian filmmaker, James Cameron, won 11 Oscars for Titanic in 1998.  The movie remains today the most lucrative film in the history of cinema.

Justin Timberlake to Start his Own Label

The 24 year-old singer and his manager, Johnny Wright, want to team with Atlantic Records to launch the new label.

The name for the new organization hasn’t been decided yet, but they are already working with their first artist from Memphis, Tennesee.

The new artist is a childhood friend of Timberlake.  Aside from the new label, Timberlake is working on his next disc.  Timberlake’s last album, Justified, was released in 2002.
