Charlie’s Valentine’s Day present

Actor Charlie Sheen promised his wife he will stay sober, only a few weeks after putting a knife to her throat.

The highest paid television actor today also gave his wife some handmade jewellery to commemorate his promise.

The 44-year old actor seems determined to save his marriage. Sheen returns to court next month. In the meantime, he wants to show the judge he is acting in good faith.

The Two and a Half Men star has a long history of drug and alcohol abuse and paying for prostitutes.

Police in Aspen, Colorado responded to a distress call from a 32-year old woman over the Christmas holidays. She said that, after a night of drinking with friends, the actor put a knife to her throat while they were in bed. Sheen was released after promising a judge to stay away from his wife and from booze.

The couple has since reconciled. Mueller asked a judge to remove the restraining order. The judge agreed on the condition that Sheen stay sober.

Sheen still faces a possible three-year prison term for his actions.

Porn star Joslyn James revealed in an interview being aired tonight that she had unprotected sex with American golfer Tiger Woods.

The 32-year old actress told Inside Edition that she got pregnant twice during her affair with the golfer.

She talks about the second pregnancy too, "Well, Elin was pregnant with Charlie at that time," she said. "I just didn’t want to ruin anything."

The porn star says she dated Tiger Woods on and off for three years. She adds that they never used protection when having sex.

Tiger Woods recently finished a stint in therapy for his sex addiction. More than a dozen women have come out of the woodwork claiming to be his mistress.

Barenaked Ladies to Release New Disc

Formed in 1988 in Scarborough, Ontario, Barenaked Ladies initially attracted a lot of attention with the originality of their name.

After the shock of the name passed, the group’s catchy songs spoke for themselves.  Looking back, it’s no surprise that the band, founded by Steven Page and Ed Robertson, is still rocking on 22 years later.  The Barenaked Ladies are about to release their 11th studio album on March 30.

"This is a really important record for us and we’re really proud of it," said Robertson. "We’re redefining who we are, and how we communicate as a band, and as friends. The album has an emotional rawness to it that we may have shied away from in the past. I think we pushed ourselves to heavier places, and also allowed for some really spacious moments. We can’t wait to play these songs live."

The next album from Barenaked Ladies, entitled All In Good Time, will be the group’s first release sinceBarenaked Ladies Are Me, from 2006.  The new album’s first single, You Run Away, hits the airwaves later this month.
