LeAnn Rimes Singing for Disney

Rimes recorded the song Remember When, which will become the official theme of the 50th anniversary at this amusement park in California.

The song will be heard when there are traditional fireworks, and will be on the CD titled The Official Album of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary, which will be sold as of May 3.

Disneyland will be celebrating its anniversary for 18 months.  The other theme parks around the world will also contribute to the celebration.

James Bond Finds a Director

Campbell is not new to sequels.  In 1995, he did the movie GoldenEye, the movie that marked the arrival of Pierce Brosnan as the main character.

Producers seem very happy with their choice.  "We are thrilled that Martin has accepted our offer to direct Casino Royale. He is an extremely talented director and we believe he will help take our films in a new and exciting direction."

Martin Campbell is presently working on the film Legend of Zorro with Catherine Zeta Jones and Antonio Banderas.

The next step is finding the hero of this 21st film in the James Bond sequels.  Rumour has it that Dougray Scott (Mission:  Impossible 2), has a great chance of getting the part.

Beyoncé Knowles Wants to Sing with Coldplay

Singer from the group Destiny’s Child, also has an important solo career, and has done a few duos in the past.

She mentions, "I’ve done duets over the years, but would love to work with Coldplay. Singing with Chris would be cool."

In the past, we’ve heard Beyoncé sing with Jay-Z, her fiance, Sean Paul and MIssy Elliott among others.

Petra Nemcova Discharged From Hospital

This 25 year old model was in Thailand with her fiancé when the destructive tidal waves hit the country.

Nemcova suffered from a fractured pelvis, and some internal injuries.

The runway model survived this tragedy by holding onto a tree for eight hours.  Her fiancé did not have the same luck as her.  His body has not been found, and he is presumed dead.

Kiefer Sutherland Fires His Daughter

Sarah Sutherland, 16, was working as a production assistant for this drama series.

According to the Daily Mail, the actor lost his patience with his daughter when she would not stop talking on the set.  He asked the other producers that his daughter not be given any special privileges.

As Kiefer explained:  "One of the only things that I am very specific about on our show is that it has to be absolutely quiet."

Eric Clapton a Father For the Fifth Time

According to the newspaper The Sun, his wife, Melia, 29, and the newborn are doing well.  The singer was present for the delivery which was at a London hospital.

The couple have two more children together, Julie-Rose, 3 and Ella Mae, 2.

Clapton also has a daughter Ruth, 19, that he shares with his ex-fiancée, Yvonne Kelly.

In 1991, this Eric Clapton tragically lost his four year old son, Conor.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Doing a Duo

The couple, which kept their relationship quiet for a very long time, will do their number before millions of viewers at the 47th annual Grammy Awards, on February 13.

Lopez and Anthony were married very discretely last June.  Lopez will be releasing her new album Rebirth, on March 1.  Anthony has been nominated in two different categories.

The two celebrities found an apartment costing $5 million dollars in the neighbourhood of Chelsea, Manhatten.

For the British couple, New York is extra special ever since Winslet filmed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with Jim Carrey in 2003.

Paris Hilton Not Being Charged

This celebrity could have been charged in the theft of an amateur porn videocassette she starred in.

Hilton left the video store last week with the video One Night in Paris, that had not been paid for.  This movie shows sexual acts between Hilton and her ex-boyfriend.

The Los Angeles prosecutor stated that charges will not be laid "in the interest of justice".

Disney Considering a Sequel to Toy Story

According to some preliminary information, Toy Story 3 may be out in 2008.

Disney holds the rights for all films distributed by Pixar Studios.  The two companies have decided to separate after many years of collaborative work together.

If Disney proceeds in this direction, they may be offering one new major film per year.

The directors of the studio closed their animation department a few months ago.  It is in this studio that classics such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck were produced.

Disney job cuts and restructured studios, show they are pulling away from traditional methods in favour of computer animation. Cook called the new division a "new beginning" for feature animation.
