U2 Announces Delaying World Tour

According to Rolling Stone magazine, the How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, world tour, was supposed to start on the first of March in Miami, and is being delayed due to illness that has struck one of the group’s family members.

U2 was scheduled to be on tour for 10 months, and do 114 shows.  Despite this, the group has not cancelled their appearance on the Grammy Awards, February 13, and their induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame March 14.

Before that time, the group will be releasing a new song, Sometimes You Can’t Make it On Your Own, February 7.

Elizabeth Hurley Says Yes

According to Female First, the star of Austin Powers was very happy that the Indian millionaire popped the big question during the holidays.

The couple has been dating for one year and a half, and can now start planning their wedding, since Nayer is now divorced from his former wife, Italian model, Valentina Pedroni.

The couple celebrated their engagment news on the ski slopes of St. Mortiz, with Hurley’s 2 year old son, Damian.

Female First also reports that Hurley, 39, and Arun, 40, foresee doing two ceremonies, one traditional English wedding in May, and another ceremony in India in June, at the time of Hurley’s 40th birthday.

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake Engaged

According to a British newspaper The Sun, the two stars were seen, Wednesday, January 5, celebrating their good news in a Los Angeles restaurant with friends.

This same source stated that Diaz was proudly wearing her diamond engagment ring.

A close friend revealed, "Justin and Cameron are really happy. They spent a lot of time together over the holidays and they decided the time was right to get engaged. Justin spent a fortune on the ring. Cameron was thrilled with it."

Cameron Diaz, 32, and Justin Timberlake, 23, have been dating for almost 2 years.

Sting Doing a Benefit Concert for Asia

The former singer of the group Police will be doing his concert on February 10 in Perth, Australia.  100% of the profits will be donated to the victims of the catastrophy in Asia.

Sting will continue his tour, Secret Tour, in Singapore January 10.  After Asia, he will be touring in Australia, Canada and the United States.

MTV Asia Awards Help Victims of Tsunami

The MTV Asia Awards will be presented live from Bangkok and Thailand on February 3.

The M.C. for the evening will be Amercian singer Christina Aguilera, who won the Female Artist  of 2004 award.  The ceremony, which normally highlights the greatest hits of the preceding months in Asia, will be reoriented in order to help the people affected by the catastrophy in Asia.

For this reason, MTV producers decided that this popular and well known event, would be an excellent opportunity to help the victims of the Tsunami disaster.

Maroon 5 and Japanese Namie Amuro have already accepted being featured guests.

Angelina Jolie is the Perfect Woman

The stars of the movie Alexander, were in London Wednesday, for the premiere of their new movie in the British capital.  Farrell, who has the leading role, admitted that the American actress was his perfect woman.

He stated, "I haven’t had a girlfriend in a long time but Angie’s pretty close to my perfect woman. At the moment I am single but Angelina could well and truly be the right woman. She certainly comes close."

According to rumours, the two celebrities, who have both shared a history of admirers, have shared some intimate moments together.

Angelina Jolie seems to reciprocate, "It has been mind-blowing working with him. He’s really, really fun to be around. He’s full of surprises."

Elizabeth Jagger Forced to Pose Nude at 15

The now 20 year old model, told British magazine Elle, how this traumatizing experience happened.

"When I was 15, I worked with this photographer – who shall remain nameless – and she just kept going too far. I was made to wear this see-through top, and she even followed me into the loo to try to take photos."

According to a Lancôme spokesperson girls that start this work very young, are too vulnerable for this cut-throat type industry.

She added, "When I started modelling, the girls weren’t so young. But recently it’s gotten worse. A couple of the girls at the Milan catwalks were only 13."

Anna Nicole Smith wants millions

The star decided not to give up after the Amercian Court of Appeals refused to pay her inheritance.

The provocative blond’s attorney, Howard Stern, revealed to People magazine that they wouldn’t let it rest.  "We will seek rehearing from the 9th Circuit as a whole, and the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary," Howard Stern, Smith’s lawyer, tells People. 

The Federal Court of Appeals reversed a verdict that granted 88.5 million dollars in inheritance to Smith, from her late husband, petroleum tycoon and billionaire, J. Howard Marshall.

In 2002, after a huge legal battle between Smith and Marshall’s son, E. Pierce Marshall, a California judge had  established that Smith’s 90 year old husband was definitely in love with the 26 year old star.  She was therefore, within her rights to receive a part of the inheritance of his fortune when he died in 1995.

Andre 3000 teams with Mark Wahlberg

Andre "3000", Benjamin, will be joined by Mark Wahlberg (Planet of the Apes, Italian Job, The Perfect Storm), in a drama, done by Paramount Pictures, called Four Brothers.

The movie tells the story of four brothers that seek revenge for the death of their mother.

The filming of the movie Four Brothers will take place in Toronto, and begins filming next week.  It will be directed by John Sigleton (Shaft, Boyz in the Hood, 2 Fast 2 Furious).

Andre 3000 has not had much acting experience.  However, we will see him soon in two other films, Be Cool and Revolver.

The Beckham Intruder Goes to Prison

John Hennigan, 38, was the intruder that caused an emotional stir to Victoria Beckham last July.  He was found with a gasoline container on the property of the couple in Hertfordshire in England.

Following this, former Spice Girl took her two children Brooklyn and Romeo, and went to stay at her parents, while the police dealt with the intruder.
