BIGTravolta et actor Jams Gandolfini (The Sopranos, The Mexican) will have the leading roles in the movie Lonely Hearts.
Written and directed by Todd Robinson, this movie tells the story of two detectives from the homicide squad, that caught and put behind bars, Martha Beck and Raymond Martinez Fernandez, known as "Lonely Heart Killers" in the 1940’s.
Filming of Lonely Hearts will begin in March in Florida.
The two men were in Europe to promote the release of their new movie The Aviator, and were greeted by the Minister of Culture Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres.
Scorsese received the Legion of Honour, while DiCaprio was honoured with the Commander of the Order of the Arts and Letters.
The Aviator will be coming to theatres in France on January 26.
The telethon, held on January 15, can be seen on NBC, and other national channels such as USA, Bravo, Trio, Sci-Fi, MSNBC and CNBC, in an effort to raise money for those affected by the Tsunami.
Another large Amercian media group, Clear Channel, which has many radio stations, will also collaborate in the telethon.
Few celebrities have confirmed their participation. Among those are George Clooney, and singers Tim McGraw, Christina Aguilera and Sheryl Crow.
Bosworth, 22, was chosen among many others, notingly, singer and actress Beyoncé Knowles who tried for the part.
This celebrity will be paired with Brandon Routh, who will do the starring role of Superman in Superman Returns.
Filming will debut in March in Australia. It is expected to be released at theatres in 2006.
In the survey of 1015 adults, conducted by Harris Poll, Hanks was ahead of all the other actors and actresses thanks to three big movies (The Polar Express, The Ladykillers and The Terminal) in the last year.
Actor and Director Mel Gibson comes in second for this last year. Interestingly, Gibson did not actually act in any movies in 2004. However, his movie The Passion of Christ was one of the most important movies in the last year.
Third place in this survey was given to Julia Roberts. This 37 year old celebrity had a busy year acting in two movies (Ocean’s Twelve and Closer), and becoming a parent, she gave birth to twins.
