A Sneak Peak at the Volvo S60

It was in Sweden where the S60 was spotted. Directly inspired by the prototype unveiled earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show, the new S60 has more curves than its predecessor.

The newcomer has a 1.6-litre direct injection engine linked to a dual-clutch transmission, promising good fuel economy without compromising performance.

As always, Volvo vows not to neglect its security standards with this sedan. Among the standard features we find a pedestrian detection system that activates the brakes.

More information about the S60 will be revealed when the Swedish brand officially unveils its new model at the Detroit Auto Show this January.

Dodge Scraps the Caliber SRT4

Dodge announced in a statement that the company is discontinuing the Caliber SRT4, the American brand’s most powerful small car.

With the disappearance of the Caliber, the SRT (Street and Racing Technology) division at Chrysler will also be tossing five other models; the Chrysler 300C SRT8, the Dodge Charger SRT8, Challenger SRT8 and Viper SRT10, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.

Colin Farrell’s Outburst on the Red Carpet

The star of the new thriller was presenting his film at the Toronto International Film Festival when the incident occurred.

The actor was accompanied by his sister Claudine, when a cameraman shouted at her, telling her to move away while he took a snapshot of her movie star brother.

Farrell did not appreciate the request, and confronted the paparazzo face-to-face. An eyewitness revealed, "He took it personal. He said, ‘Do not shout at my sister like that, do not ever speak to my sister like that ever’."

The heated moment was short-lived, and the actor continued on his way inside the theatre where his film was to be shown.

Ironically, the film Triage is about the psychological effects of the war waged by photo journalists.
