Jonas Brothers Star in New Show

Kevin, Joe and Nick will star this Saturday in a new series called Jonas.

The storyline for Jonas is about three brothers who are members of a musical group and want to live a normal life, despite their superstar status. The comedy will begin at eight o’clock on Saturday.

In the first episode, Joe, Kevin and Nick take turns delivering pizza. Each time, they will try to win the heart of a young girl.

The three brothers will begin their first worldwide tour on May 17 in Monterrey, Mexico. They will then visit Peru, Argentina, Chile, Canada, France, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Farrah Fawcett’s TV Documentary

NBC Television will air Farrah’s Story tomorrow.

In the documentary, the 62-year-old actress, who is renowned for her role in the 1970s series Charlie’s Angels, will share painful moments she’s experienced with her illness.

According to what her life partner, Ryan O’Neal, said, the Texas-native hopes for a miracle while her treatments have come to a halt and her health is deteriorating.

Diagnosed at a terminal phase, the actress had no hesitations about revealing footage of her doctor visits in the United States and Germany.

Fawcett was diagnosed with cancer in September 2006. After four months, she thought she was rid of it. In May 2007, she learned that she was still stricken with the terrible disease. Today, it seems that doctors are not capable of improving her prognosis.

Patrick Swayze’s Health Worsens

The star of Dirty Dancing and Ghost has been suffering with pancreatic cancer for several months. Despite treatments, he managed to make appearances in the television series, The Beast.

However, it seems that the 56-year-old star is now struggling with more and more physical complications. According to the National Enquirer, a lung infection forced the star to stop his chemotherapy.

The tabloid revealed that the actor refused to undergo an operation to correct the latest complication due to the elevated risks it ensued.

A source stated, "The infection hadn’t responded to treatment, and breathing became so hard for him that his family and friends, and his doctors were desperate to provide any relief."

This time, the brand strives to make its image dynamic and hip, which is why The Virgins were chosen as the focal point of the ad that will be posted in front of New York’s Brooklyn Bridge.

Designer Tommy Hilfiger commented that his goal was to mesh pop culture, music and fashion together.

Rihanna Back on Stage

The native of Barbados hit the stage yesterday in New York to perform two songs with Kanye West. The two stars provided entertainment for the Costume Institute Gala.

This is the first time Rihanna has given a public performance, since her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, allegedly attacked her on February 7.

Brown, who celebrated his 20th birthday yesterday (May 5), is still awaiting a trial. On May 28, it will be decided whether there is sufficient evidence to formally convict him of having assaulted Rihanna.

U2 Announces World Tour

The Kiss The Future tour will promote the release of the album No Line on the Horizon this week. Barcelona, Spain will be the first city U2 will visit, reports Billboard magazine.

For the upcoming tour, U2 will reunite on a stage surrounded by a 360-degree audience, and the concert will also be casted on a giant cylindrical screen.

Guitarist The Edge revealed, “We’re very excited about the idea to go on the road with this album," and added, "It’s an album that I think is going to translate so well to the live context. The songs we’ve tried in rehearsal are sounding fantastic, so that’s got everyone really fired up.”

The global tour by the Irish group will travel around Europe until August 22. After that, the show heads to America, starting on September 12, with a first stop in Chicago. The North American tour goes on until October 28, and the band plans to perform abroad again until fall 2010.

Even if the full tour details have yet to be announced, ticket prices will be fixed between $30 and $250, based on the market. Tickets for the European shows will go on sale in mid-March, and those for North American will become available at the end of March, early April.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to Reunite

On Saturday, April 4, the two stars will participate in a benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

The foundation finances initiatives to promote the practise of transcendental meditation to "change the world from within."

In addition to the former Beatles, the show will also feature Sheryl Crow, Eddie Vedder and Bettye LaVette.

Tickets for the event will go on sale this Monday.

New Eminem Disc on Shelves in May

Slim Shady’s fans will be thrilled to know the latest scoop. Interscope Records announced that the Detroit singer will not be releasing one, but two discs this year, after his four-year hiatus.

In addition to Relapse on May 19, Eminem will also drop Relapse 2. For the moment, no date for the second album has been announced.

According to a statement the singer made, the second CD is still in the making at the studio. Eminem plans for its arrival within the second half of 2009.
