Paul McCartney Writes a Song About His Ex

Three months after his divorce became final, ex-Beatle Paul McCartney penned a new love song about his ex-wife.

Surprisingly, the lyrics to the ballad My Soul were written with great affection for Heather Mills, the mother of McCartney’s 4-year-old daughter Beatrice, who was born when the two were in love.

According to what London’s The Mirror has learned, the song was a collaboration with electronic musician Nitin Sawhney, and is anticipated to appear on Sawhney’s next disc.

Heather Mills and Paul McCartney’s marriage ended in 2006. The final details of their divorce were wrapped up this month.

Nitin Sawhney’s disc, featuring My Soul, will be released in October.

An Eva Mendes Ad Gets Censored

The new advertisement by the popular brand has been banned, because it was too risqué. The 33-year-old actress, known for her roles in Hitch, We Own the Night and 2 Fast 2 Furious, posed nude for the publicity.

A few weeks ago, the star told The Sun about how much fun she had working on the ads, saying, “I love it. That means the ads are totally Calvin, totally provocative and a little controversial.”

She added, “I love to feel super-feminine. I think what makes a woman sexy is confidence.”

Creative Director Fabien Baron, who was the head of Calvin Klein’s campaign, commented, “This country really needs a new president. It’s such a joke and it’s quite upsetting, frankly, how hypocritical this country has become. It’s OK for children to see people killed by guns? Spreading a little love right now would be a good idea. She is being a little sexy, but they are not provocative."

The 61-year-old veteran rocker and his band are in the middle of a world tour.  They will travel to Europe at the end of the month to continue their shows.

Despite the theft, Iggy Pop will perform tomorrow in Toronto, and will play with rented or borrowed equipment.
