The British star will visit Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, Halifax and Saint John, in addition to cities previously announced.

Blunt’s first album, 2004’s Back to Bedlam, has sold more than 12 million copies around the world.  His second release, All the Lost Souls, has also been very successful.

Jennifer Aniston Makes a Good Roadie

The star of the film The Break-Up, Rumor Has It… and Derailed is currently dating musician John Mayers. Over the course of the past few weeks, she’s been enjoying herself on his tour.

According to sources close to the singer that were questioned by People magazine, the actress has become a darling for the tour team. 

"John has such an amazing crew of musicians and friends with him. Everyone gets along and is drama free and Jen fits right in – perfectly," says a Mayer friend, who added, "Everyone really loves her."

During one of Mayer’s concerts in Chula Vista, California, Aniston was the object of interest. Text messages from fans were displayed on the giant screens, telling the singer, "We want Jennifer Aniston to come out now!!!"

Alex Rodriguez Ready for Divorce

In documents submitted to court on Thursday morning, A-Rod admitted that his marriage is completely ruined. He made no comment, however, about his wife’s allegations concerning his extramarital affairs and other misconduct.

On July 7, his wife petitioned for divorce. Even though the singer Madonna was not mentioned in the documents, numerous rumours have circulated that she and the baseball player were having an affair.

Cynthia Rodriguez wants ownership of the couple’s house in Coral Gables, valued at $12 million. The mother-of-two also expects to receive payments from her husband.

Meanwhile, Alex Rodriguez has asked the court to respect the prenuptial agreement that the couple signed before their marriage in 2002.

Regarding their two children, the Yankees star has requested partial custody. He said he is willing to pay child support and would allow the court to determine a fair amount.

Alex Rodriguez, who was given the Most Valuable Player title three times in the American Major League, has finished a 10-year contract worth $252 million. He places 24th on Forbes magazine’s list of richest celebrities.

Helen Mirren Is the Best Dressed

The 63-year-old actress, best known for her Oscar-winning role in The Queen in 2006, is outshining her much younger contenders, including Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Connelly.

In the men’s category, the title of the Best Dressed Man went to Djimon Hounsou. The actor was the star of the film Blood Diamond, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Hounsou topped smoking hot Daniel Craig, the latest James Bond, who was listed in second place.

The Best Dressed Couples list was topped by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, followed by Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady.

Black Crowes Material Copied

Attorneys for the Black Crowes have sent notices to singer Gretchen Wilson, TNT, Sony BMG and J Money Music for copyright infringements.

The Atlanta group claims that Wilson used their material in her song, Work Hard, Play Harder. In addition, American television network TNT uses this song to promote the show Saving Grace.

Work Hard, Play Harder is expected to be on Wilson’s next disc, set for a release at the end of the year.

In a statement, Pete Angelus, the manager for the Black Crowes comments, "We find the musical verses of Wilson’s song to be such an obvious example of copyright infringement that I expect all parties to reach a relatively quick resolution to avoid litigation."

Neither Wilson nor the parties involved have commented on the situation.

Lawsuit Against Wyclef Jean

According to the jeweller Jacob & Co., the Haitian-born singer did not pay a bill totalling more than $300 000.

The New York company claims that the former Fugees member bought watches and jewellery and has not paid what he owes.

Jacob & Co. is a very well known jeweller in the show business industry. Artists such as Kanye West, The Game and Beyoncé have even referred to the company in their some of their song lyrics. The jewellery store has also served clients, such as Madonna and Elton John.

Jean, who was appointed as the roving ambassador of Haiti by President René Préval, has not made any comments on the lawsuit. The amount he is being sued for has not been revealed.

Wine Production Slows Down in France

According to the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries in France, the main factor for lower wine production this year would be the lack of a harsh winter, normally one of the significant criteria, which optimally renders the vine dormant.

For certain French regions, especially the Loire Valley and the Southwest, strong frost can be blamed for the substantial damage to the grapevines.

Because of the frost, the emergence of diseases have occurred in areas, such as in Languedoc-Roussillon and in the Southwestern regions, where some of the diseases stemmed from mildew and tearing of the vines, thus contributing to 2008’s less-than-average harvest.

The minister indicated that the total production in 2008 amounted to 47.1 million hectolitres, of which 23.7 hectolitres were designated for appellation wines, 13.5 hectolitres made table wines, 3.2 hectolitres produced all other wines, juices and malt wines, and 6.5 hectolitres went into the making of cognac.

Bono as the Jolie-Pitt Twins’ Godfather?

According to The Mirror, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt will have a celebrity godfather, the lead singer of the band U2.

While Jolie, 33, and Pitt, 44, are resting in the South of France, the couple reportedly decided to ask Bono to be the newborn twins’ godparent.

A source from the journal indicated that the rocker immediately accepted the honour.

"They have been friends for years. Brad is a massive U2 fan and told Bono how much he admired him when they were introduced at a party a few years back, " said the source who added, "Since then, they’ve become very close, which Brad is thrilled about. Angelina is inspired by Bono’s humanitarian work and gets on with his wife Ali Hewson. Ali’s given Angelina some clothes from her ethical clothing range Edun."

The 27-year-old starlet believes that dating her Good Charlotte guitarist boyfriend has done a lot of good for her personal growth.

The blonde told People magazine, "I just feel like a grown-up now. I think my whole life I was kind of living as a teenager and not really taking responsibility." She added, "We’re so in love and so happy right now and it’s only been six months. I finally have a nice guy."

Hilton now lives a tame life. She can even imagine marriage and motherhood in her future. Her friendship with Nicole Richie, who became a mommy this year, has opened her eyes to the joys of being a mother. She admitted, "We just saw her like a week ago. She had her six-month birthday. I can’t believe it."   Paris added, "She’s getting so big and is so cute. I love babies!"

Alicia Keys and Jack White Get Bond

Alicia Keys and Jack White will perform the theme song for the film Quantum of Solace.

The R&B singer and the White Stripes leader will record the song Another Way to Die, making the first duet in the history of James Bond theme songs.

According to the BBC, White wrote the song, and will also produce and play the drums for the recording.  The film’s producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, said of the decision, "We are delighted and pleased to have two such exciting artists as Jack and Alicia."

In the past, the James Bond theme songs have been recorded by such artists as Duran Duran, Paul McCartney and Chris Cornell.

Quantum of Solace, starring Daniel Craig, opens in theatres in November.
