Scream 6: A teaser is revealed!

Paramount Pictures has released a teaser for the sixth installment of the Scream movie series.

The theatrical release date is also announced, on March 10th!

The film will be a direct sequel to Scream(Scream 5), released in 2022.

Jenna Ortega, the superstar of the Netflix series Wednesday, is back alongside survivors from previous films like Hayden Panettiere, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and franchise veteran Courteney Cox!

Neve Campbell is however the most noticed absentee of the sixth installment, she who refused to resume her role of Sydney Prescott, explaining that she felt devalued and felt that the financial offer she received was not enough for all that she had brought to the franchise for over 25 years!

This will be the first time she will not be part of a Scream movie since its beginning in 1996!

Will her absence overshadow the new movie?

Superman: Henry Cavill got fired!

After announcing his return as Superman last October, Henry Cavill was shocked to learn in a meeting with DC executives that he was no longer part of future plans!

The actor actually seemed surprised and saddened by his dismissal in his Instagram post announcing the news.

“I just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it’s sad news […] everyone. After all, I won’t be coming back as Superman,” the star said.

 

Indeed, as we previously told you, major changes are underway with the arrival of DC Studios’ new leadership last October. They’ve already passed the axe in Wonder Woman 3 and the future of Black Adam and Aquaman is questionable.

“My turn to wear the cape has come and gone […] it’s been a fun ride with all of you, onward and upward.”

This is still a blow for Henry Cavill, since he announced in October his exit from the series The Witcher on Netflix, him being replaced by Liam Hemsworth from the fourth season.

Terrified, Kelly Clarkson stalked by a trucker!

A man has shown up at Kelly Clarkson’s house on multiple occasions since the U.S. Thanksgiving and insists on coming in, which is scaring the star and her children.

According to TMZ, the singer was granted a temporary restraining order by a judge on December 12 against the suspect. The suspect is a man who shows up at Clarkson’s residence… in a semi-truck!

Also according to TMZ, the man named Victor Fernandez is said to be “irritated” and “confused” when he is denied access by members of the security team in charge of monitoring Kelly Clarkson’s home.

“This is the second time she’s done this! […]”, he would have said to one of them.

In her request to the judge, the singer even insisted that members of her security team and all employees of her home and family members be protected by the injunction.

The Kelly Clarkson Show star is expected to return to the judge for a permanent restraining order later in December, TMZ reports.

Harry & Meghan promises to be very entertaining!

Netflix unveiled a first look at the documentary Harry & Meghan, which delves into the story of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as told by the principals involved, and will be released next week.

The teaser starts with a carousel of photos that summarizes the beginning of the love story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex… but, quickly, the tension rises with the royal obligations and the incessant scrutiny of the British press.

“Why did you want to make this documentary?” a voice off-camera calls out.

“I had to do everything I could to protect my family,” Harry replies.

“When the stakes are so high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?” adds Meghan.

The trailer promises a story told in a very personal way and is sure to create a shock wave in the British royal family.

Yellowstone fans, you don’t want to miss this!

The Yellowstone prequel is shaping up to be awesome!

Paramount+ has unveiled the trailer for the series 1923, the prequel to Yellowstone, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren and it promises to be very entertaining!

The new series will set the context for the Dutton family’s takeover of the Yellowstone Ranch in the early 20th century.

A Paramount representative provided some details about the series.

“The series will explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression plague the mountains of Montana,” remarks reported by CNN.

1923 is scheduled to premiere on Paramount+ on December 18.

The former U.S. president and Kanye West are clearly surrounding themselves with far-right radicals as Donald Trump invited fallen rapper and white supremacist Nick Fuentes to Mar-a-Lago last Friday, as CNN reports.

Barely two weeks after announcing his candidacy for the next U.S. election in 2024, Trump is in hot water after inviting Nick Fuentes (known for, among other things, denying the existence of the Holocaust) to a dinner party inside his lavish Florida golf club last Friday.

Remember that West, himself in the midst of scandals, also announced his candidacy for the presidency of 2024 last November 21 …

A great honor for Nicole Kidman!

Nicole Kidman to receive AFI Life Achievement Award in 2023!

The Hollywood star will receive the honor at a gala event on June 10 to celebrate her lifetime achievement.

Organizers of the AFI Life Achievement Award have announced that the Australian actress will receive the prestigious award, recognizing “bold performances” and “courageous choices”, among other things.

The 55-year-old actress will be the 49th celebrity to receive America’s highest honor for a career in the film industry.

The actress has delivered memorable performances throughout her career, including Eyes Wide Shut (1999), Moulin Rouge! (2001), The Hours (2002) and Dogville (2003).

And, most recently, in the series Big Little Lies (2017-2019) and the films Being the Ricardos (2021) and The Northman (2022).

A well-deserved award for this great actress!

Netflix has announced that the special will be presented later this year, without specifying a date at this time.

Rihanna invites Johnny Depp and causes controversy!

The singer and businesswoman that is Rihanna managed a good publicity stunt for the Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 event, inviting the actor Johnny Depp to make an appearance at her fashion show.

But, this collaboration could quickly turn into a nightmare for Rihanna, as discontent is felt on social networks.

After being left aside by Hollywood, largely for his relationship with Amber Heard (who accused him of domestic violence), Depp is trying by all means to return in force. He’s been partially successful since his victory over Heard in the most recent defamation lawsuit involving them.

But, although Depp has found a sympathetic audience for his cause after winning his case, many still have doubts about his sincerity and are making their displeasure heard to Rihanna on social networks!

The hashtag #DitchDepp quickly appeared, and the comments on Instagram are in the same tone.

“Take Johnny off the show,” one read under the Savage X Fenty post, among others.

Recall Johnny Depp’s recent bizarre appearance at the MTV VMAs, which also caused controversy.
