Canadian singer Avril Lavigne may have a throat infection but she is in the recording studio anyway working on material for her fourth album. It is a follow up to 2007’s The Best Damn Thing. Joining her in studio are producer Alex Da Kid and friend "Grizzly Bear."
Lavigne posted a message on her Twitter page revealing: "In the studio with @AlexDaKid, I’ve got strep throat, but I ain’t stoping my thing!" She also posted a video on YouTube offering fans a look into her life inside the studio. She takes fans on a tour of Henson Studios and gets da Kid to play a snippet of one of her new songs.
MuchMusic reports Alex da Kid "has two of the summer’s biggest hits in Eminem and Rihanna’s Love The Way You Lie and B.o.B. and Hayley Williams’ Airplanes. Does this mean Avril Lavigne’s next album will be less acoustic than she previously planned?
The 25-year old singer is dating The Hills reality star Brody Jenner.
