Axl Rose Comes Out of His Lair

Axl Rose has agreed to his first official interview since the release of the Chinese Democracy album.

Singer Axl Rose, who has dodged interviews with the press, agreed to answer some of Billboard‘s questions about the Guns N’ Roses Chinese Democracy album and future projects for the band.

To explain the poor sales of the highly-awaited album, Rose placed the blame on Interscope and Universal Music record companies, accusing them of failing to deliver a suitable ad campaign and for sheer negligence.

When word got out that Guns N’ Roses had two other completed discs underway, the singer denied the info, saying, "We’d like to get another album out at some point, but for now our focus is on Chinese.

Meanwhile, the band is working on the video for Better, which doesn’t yet have an official release date.
