Axl Rose Promises a CD for 2006

The lead singer from Guns ‘n’ Roses, Axl Rose, promises that his band will release a new disc by the end of the year.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the singer said that their album, Chinese Democracy, has been in the making for ten years.  The singer explained, "People will hear music this year. It’s a very complex record. I’m trying to do something different."

He added, "Some of the arrangements are kind of like Queen. Some people are going to say, ‘It doesn’t sound like Axl Rose, it doesn’t sound like Guns ‘n’ Roses.’ But people are going to like at least a few songs on there."

Axl Rose has found new musicians to replace the other original band members.  Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan are all now in the group Velvet Revolver.
