American rapper B.o.B. has revealed that his new album will be named after its debut single, Strange Clouds, which he recorded with featured guest Lil Wayne.
"’Strange Clouds’ … is the first single off my sophomore album, [which is] actually titled ‘Strange Clouds,’" B.o.B. told Atlanta radio station V-103.
"Wayne actually got on it pretty quick. It was a quick turnaround. We were kind of debating on it, man, but we just felt like this is the song that should go first. I feel really strong about it and I like to take my time with music."
A follow-up to his successful breakout album, The Adventures of Bobby Ray, Strange Clouds is expected to hit stores in the early spring, although the rapper says: "I want it to be sooner!"
While the title track contains a verse from Wayne, fans expecting the same number of featured guests as Bobby Ray may be disappointed: "What Bob wanted to do was go into the lab himself and spend his time creating what he wanted his album to have, the direction he wanted," producer Jim Jonsin told MTV News.
