Baby Dior delivers new fall-winter collection

Rich detailing for little fashion mavens.

French fashion house Christian Dior has launched a new ad campaign for their fall-winter 2011 Baby Dior collection for boys and girls, reports Relay.

To capture the children more naturally, the brand filmed them at play – focusing in on crisply-tailored details like pleated necklines and four-button cuffs.

The boys were photographed at a museum of modern art, playing hide-and-seek among the paintings and sculptures. Well-dressed lads in suit jackets, winter coats and sweaters peek out from behind fascinating works of art. Often seen playing together, the boys laugh and joke around with one another in a natural way.

The young girls, meanwhile, went on a treasure hunt in a beautiful old castle. In pretty party dresses and winter capes, the little fashionistas explore the old chateau, expressions of wonderment on their faces, do ballerina pirouettes in the large, empty rooms, or sit together in pairs, quietly conversing with each other.

The new lines focus on color and contrast, with the occasional printed graphic. The boys wear bold hues while the girls’ line tends more towards neutral colors and pastels, with classic and elegant styles.

The Baby Dior collection includes clothing and footwear for infants and children and is available through the company’s website.
