Applegate’s rep confirmed on Saturday (August 2), that the actress was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer, reported UsMagazine.com.
It is not life threatening since it was detected early. "Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery," added her rep.
Applegate’s mother is a breast cancer survivor.
