Barbie, directed and co-written by Greta Gerwig, topped the billion-dollar mark after just three weeks in theaters!

Barbie is now the biggest hit made by a woman, surpassing Wonder Woman‘s worldwide total of $821.8 million (US).

Wonderful news for the female film community!

The three films co-directed by women that would currently still overtake Barbie are Frozen, Frozen 2 and Captain Marvel.
