Bat invasion forces hospital to close

A hospital was forced to close after bats invaded.

The Good Shepherd Medical Centre in east Texas was forced to shut its doors temporarily after the webbed-winged mammals had sought shelter in the hospital’s standalone unit and had started bombarding the ambulance pen.

The American medical service has had to suspend its health services for the time being and it will remain closed until the creatures are removed entirely from the building.
