A few months ago in New York, French fashion house Dior unveiled a fourth line of watches, Dior VIII. Now the brand is now launching a luxury version of that line, reports Vogue France.
The new Grand Bal collection offers the same basic model, however the bracelet is made of elegant pyramid-shaped links in black ceramic, and the dials are covered in black lacquer.
Designed for daytime fashion, the first in the line features a dial lined in a choice of stones, from diamonds or sapphires to garnets and citrines – providing a range of colors from white, pink, green and amber.
For cocktail and evening events, the Dior VIII Grand Bal watch number two has diamond-ringed dial while the face features a scalloped diamond design that twirls like a ballgown in motion.
The third in the collection features again a dial circumference ringed in diamonds, with a diamond-studded face, this time an art deco design twirls. The automatic movement has been specially developed for Dior and features the rotor on the dial.
Dior VIII Grand Bal 4 has a triple-row of diamonds circling the watch dial, and the face features about three dozen floating mini-diamonds.
