Ben Stiller is starring in The Return of King Doug, a screen adaptation from a graphic novel produced by the company Red Hour, indicated The Hollywood Reporter. DreamWorks has acquired the rights to the film.
Paperback version of The Return of King Doug is about a man who returns to the fantasy world he abandoned 30 years before.
Authors of the novel, Greg Erb and Jason Oremland, also wrote the script for the film.
Ben Stiller’s upcoming comedy, Tropic Thunder, also produced by Red Hour will hit the box office next August. In addition, Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian is coming soon to theatres.
