Stiller will now be starring in the Noah Baumbach comedy.
Details about the story line have not yet been revealed, however, Baumbach tends to have his stories revolve around intimate relationships, such as in Margot at the Wedding and The Squid and the Whale.
Amy Adams was to play the lead female role, but a search is underway for another actress.
In the meantime, we can see Ben Stiller in the film Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian, which hits theatres on May 22, 2009.
