Yesterday (August 21), actress, model and daughter of singer Rod Stewart, Kimberly Stewart, 32, gave birth to her first child in Los Angeles, reports Us magazine.
Academy Award-winning Puerto Rican actor Benicio del Toro, 44, (Traffic, Che, The Wolfman) is a father for the first time.
The two had a brief relationship and are no longer together. In April, del Toro’s representative confirmed, “Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive. Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby."
The name of the little girl, who measured 22 inches and weighed 8 pounds and 9 ounces, has not yet been announced.
Kimberly Stewart is best known for her reality show Living with Kimberly Stewart.
Rod Stewart and his current wife, Penny Lancaster, were at the hospital for the birth, as was Alana Collins, mother of Kimberly Stewart and first wife of the singer.
