Singer Beyoncé has unveiled a new music video for the steamy ballad 1 + 1 from her new album, 4, reports HitFix.
The video makes use of lighting and camera effects to create some psychedelic images, but most of the clip is about the physical attractiveness of the R&B star. Anything but subtle, coated in a glittery sheen – and little else – a wild-haired Beyoncé sings directly into the camera.
A hunky paramour shows up around the midway mark, but his face remains in shadow, keeping the focus on the singer as he wraps his arms around her from behind.
Her fourth studio album, 4 is a follow-up to 2008’s I Am… Sasha Fierce. A sensuous ballad, 1 + 1 – which the singer debuted during the May 25 broadcast of American Idol – is not actually an official single, but it seems the singer is crafting videos for a number of her new tracks.
