Beyonce will kick off her U.S. tour at the inaugural BET Experience at L.A. Live.
The ‘Bow Down’ singer – who is currently on the European leg of her world tour – will perform the ‘Mrs. Carter Show’ in North America for the first time at the new three-day festival on Friday, June 28.
The weekend event, which will lead up to the annual BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 30, will also feature performances from a number of other artists including Snoop lion, R. Kelly, The Jacksons, Erykah Badu, Kendrick Lamar and Miguel.
‘Silver Linings Playbook’ star and funnyman Chris Tucker is set to host this year’s prestigious awards ceremony at the Nokia Theater.
Nominees for all of this year’s accolades, as well as the recipients of the Humanitarian Award and Lifetime Achievement Award, will be announced on Tuesday, May 14.
